Paulv2k4’s FIFA 15 Gameplay Mod/Patch

This is a patch that adjusts the gameplay. It is designed for "Lock To Player" or "Be A Pro" modes as I always play as one character on the team with the CPU. I want the CPU AI to be able to find space, tackle, play great passes, cross, take shots and generally out think each other without my input.

Hey guys.

I have decided to not continue with this mod for FIFA 15.

But good news is that I have pre-ordered FIFA 16 (after a lot of deliberation between FIFA and PES). This means I will be back in the new season. I may change my mod to a DB / INI fix using techniques I have in my UEngine game PARGFootball for database development. See you in the new season (well, the DEMO in a few weeks )

(And if you want it, there are some Career files too, to improve transfer movement)

There are "NIGHTLY" versions available. If you wish to have my most up-to-date version, use these.


The Career (not gameplay) files were originally taken from Beta990's Career Patch. Please appreciate his work by looking through his thread as his career files are tested far more than mine.


It will work with all saved careers as it does not change the database.

[Features] - What I am aiming to do.
Gameplay
- Difficulty changed to be rewarding and fun.
- Difficulty does not increase when your winning
- More difficult to score (the AI misses some easy chances too!)
- Players find it harder to take a touch (especially the first touch)
- Players are far more individual (you can see when you have a star in your team)
- AI take more shots
- More fouls ~~ This is a desired feature, not sure it is possible or not
Career - If you install them
Transfers
- English Leagues improved - Premier League teams now look into League 1 and League 2 for future stars
- More transfer movement between clubs - its sensible and teams do generally improve themselves
- Players are more likely to stick with a club they are happy at

Why? There is difficult to tackle already at world class and legendary. But passing of AI is extremely high, about 90-95%.

Use sliders, my CPU passing % on legendary is 70-80%. Easily fixed.

CPU pass success is determined by a combination of pass error slider, pass speed slider, and player speed and reaction ratings. The slower the player speed/reaction and pass speed, the less success the CPU player will have getting to the pass. That is why it is necessary to edit the db in FIFA, and why cl/product file codes are not enough. (Great work regardless Paul, this is not a knock on your efforts.)

If you haven't edited the db, then raising the pass error slider to 100 helps, and lowering the pass speed slider helps even more.

Is there a line you can put in a ini file for the game speed? (slow,normal,fast) Changing it in-game dosn't work im 99,99% sure, changing from normal to slow but I see no difference. Same with handball rule, I have it on but after 32 hours 0 handball have been called.

Because the handballs are not called that often now. I had 1 called in 52hrs played so far. Probably big patch is coming from EA to fix some glaring issues with the game.

As for game speed there were strings for it on FIFA 14 in some cl.ini files (Zarze cl.ini in Matt10 sliders for FIFA 14 used it).

Same as every year... you want a slower game, you tweak speed/accel sliders, edit player speed, accel, agility, and reaction ratings, and edit player and team work rate, positional and buildup values. No magical fixes, nope. You have to put in the editing time yourself.

So your saying changing between slow,normal,fast dosnt do anything? yeah right, in the demo i notice the difference between slow and normal but not in the full game.

1. I use Normal
2. Yes it should work fine. I use iard regenerator anyway just in case.
3. I use Legendary
