Longs shots, fouls and slower pace all require db player rating edits, cl edits don't really fix any of that. You can read some of the modding threads around here to learn how, it's been discussed many times over the past 3 years or so.

Try this... The CPU takes more long shouts than I do with this CL - a lot more.

And on data there are any files related to referees only? Because, the diferent refs, have diferent foul strickness, thats why if i play carrer english premier league i get 3 FOULS GAME, and when play on portuguese league i get a lot of more fouls.

I've two questions. First question is about transfers. Is it possible to make the chance higher for a star-loan(only stars that are unhappy with their team in the moment)? like immobile, falcao, el shaaraway in real....? Question 2 is about Team-Management of CPU. Is it possible to make the chance higher, that youth players with a high potential plays in the starting 11 (only with high potential, not only youth players..)?

I keep repeating myself. This GP file (which uses features from an old file of mine) disables the objective system. You will see more shots but you will lose other features, such as through passing by the CPU. Just a warning.

1.) No idea. You can not control much through the files only some values are exposed. This is not one of them AFAIK.

2). No. There are not enough parameters exposed to do this. It uses; OVR, Preferred position, match importance and random generator; to make up the team decisions.

Paul, Thanks for your work, I'm using your mod since v0.2 Fifa 14

I wonder if you can replay a few questions:

1) How can I force CPU make more ground crossings (instead of lobbing for headers) in the rival area when finishing an attack (like your version 31 Dicember)
2) Why you use decimal figures sometimes (ie: CROSS_GROUND=0.2) and some other times use whole integers numbers (CROSS_GROUND=49) ?
3) If following lines are CPU decision, which value would use CPU more often: 0.005 or 0.2? :bwtf:
3) Would it be possible to give a little advantage to home CPU against CPU away team? (gameday friendly match / cpu vs cpu). In your FIFA 14 mods I used to leave away team in 0.004 and 1 for home team, an advantage for home team (too much difference, I guess). What I've found out when you watch CPU vs CPU the team who do the initial kick-off always have an advantage (funny though, but real)

It must be said that this year Paul is the only one to find ways to implement the cpu shoots from long distances and from different positions, which is very realistic in real matches, but unfortunately activating this parameter also affects the CPU game reasoned... :(

Paul have all my respect, good luck for the new goals! ;)

If you want more CPU shots without disabling the objective system, increase all players long shots to 99.

already on 98, still not sure which of Pauls releases is best for cpu long shooting ?

And 98 isn't enough for you? In my game at 99, CPU is blasting away from distance so much I'm thinking of lowering it. But I do have other db edits I use so maybe that's one reason.

Not cl edits. Edits to player ratings to decrease speed and agility, and increase fouls among other things. Could be because the CPU has a greatly-reduced ability to ninja-dribble through my defenders that it instead takes more long shots, I don't know. But the game engine seems to interact differently with player ratings when ratings are tweaked, and the game does seem to play differently as a result.

The other thing is I play with high defend tactics, line sliders at 20 and park the bus tactics. That pulls my players back into my box, and the CPU will take more long shots when it's facing a wall of defenders like that.

Use Paul's cl and if that's not enough edit the long shot ratings as discussed.

I wonder if giving each player a long shot trait would be as effective?

In theory, players like Per Mertesacker wouldn't be able to find the top corner from 30 yards as his attributes would stay the same. It would just, hopefully, increase the likelihood of him shooting from dangerous positions.

Then again, I don't know what equations the CPU makes before determining when and how often shots are struck from outside the area.

Unless anyone has any insight, I might test this out.
