Paul I finally tested your last cl.ini (10 jul) and ..... WTF !!! Is amazing !!!

Greatly improved the game CPU, improved finally the cross of AI, greater response to commands and lots match more balanced!

Paul a question, if I wanted more decisions shot CPU, which parameters have to increase without putting at zero the value "AI_OBJECTIVE_MANAGER_ENABLE =1" ???

i´ll send it to you, but forget what i said later.
Some games i have 13 fouls, others only one. I think this depends on the referee.
And i messd up with crosses and i don´t know what i change.

10th july is good, but is there a way to remove this choppy movements of CPU while dribbling? It's also too fast for me, any chance to slow everything down? Otherwise it feels like an arcade game, not an simulation if it's so fast.

Headers of CPU are good now I think, even if the crosses are sometimes a little bit bad timed!?

Yes that is the best way but you lose so much because of it. I can not change the objective system so I guess we are stuck until something else is discovered I am sorry.

Thanks Klear. Yeah your totally right. The advantages bug has been in my GP since version 2, I thought it may be part of the vanilla gameplay. Ill try out different things to fix it.

So yeah, you don't like it then. "Slowing" the game causes problems elsewhere so I have tried to balance it. I can not please everyone I am afraid.

The "choppy" movement is a bug, its on my list to fix.

Paul, i want more wide atacks than trough the midle. You know how i can do it? If you don't, thats ok.
Your 10jully is the best improovement until now.
Some other questions.
What means cross scoop?
ground cross is crosses by the ground?
Low crosses is mid air crosses?
I know you're not a dictionary, but a kind of fifapedia!

Paul, maybe the way to get more fouls is editing referees or delete the less foul stricness.
I don't know if it is possible but maybe someone know.
Just one idea.

Another thing I noticed though, I don't know if this is related to your GP but I'll mention it anyway, GK distribution is pretty poor.

He'll retrieve the ball from a corner or cross and, instead of throwing it out to an unmarked winger and set up a counter, it'll get lumped up the middle of the pitch. Quite useless considering the striker is still making his way up the pitch.

Could be one of those FIFA scripted things to keep the score down. Who knows.

Something people need to be aware of before assuming the issue is with the cl: the "scripting" in a case like this is often linked to other variables, including the line sliders you are using. If you want to check to see if this is a cl issue versus an issue caused by your particular game settings, try different settings.

For example, set your line sliders to User height and length 80. This will push your team forward into (proper and realistic IMO) attack positioning. And it will leave you exposed to quick counters from the CPU. With the default game, the CPU will definitely take advantage and move the ball up quickly to its FWs. As well, the higher the CPU line sliders, the higher its FWs and MFs will stay up the pitch, meaning they'll be in counter attack position before the CPU GK tosses or kicks the ball forward. If you're still not seeing that after readjusting your line sliders, then maybe it's a cl issue.

I honestly never thought about altering those particular settings. Changing those two to 80 and testing.

Adjusting the FORCE_INSIDE and FORCE_OUTSIDE seems to change this for me. Perhaps you could start there?

Scoop cross is what you expected, its crosses high into the air. The others you are correct about.

Try those cl.ini and give opinion!

i assume getting the cpu to make more lobbed through balls isn't as simple as increasing through_lob right? :rolleyes:

I just post it to see some diferences, and maybe you can pick something from there.
And it´snot most fidel´s, the principle of AI GAmeplay is yours. I love 10 jully, but when i mixit i get more long shots, and a slower pace.

Longs shots, fouls and slower pace all require db player rating edits, cl edits don't really fix any of that. You can read some of the modding threads around here to learn how, it's been discussed many times over the past 3 years or so.
