afaik. thats handled via the difficulty as it didnt happen before. sliders make a difference here too. i may reintroduce the accel changes.
im a little busy at the moment so havent got much time for this. new (2nd) baby on the way and working on my own game project. so sorry if i cant help too much at the moment.
feel free to go back to an old nightly and see if some of the codes help rectify the issue.

1st) Any way you can teach us how the values affect in-game?
like, for example, in your last .ini is says at GK section
GK_SAVE = 50
GK_THROW = 50
GK_RUSH = 50
So like, what if we change those values to 100? is 100 the max value? will 100 make the GK save more balls or less? The same with other values like...
GroundPass = 0.9f
ShortPass = 0.85f
CrossNormal = 0.95f
2nd) And the OBJ MANAGER if I put "1" in everything it means the CPU will execute all those tactics?
3rd) If we copy parts of the code of other locale.ini of you, will it work in the new locale.ini? (like making a Frankenstein with your .ini from others

Paul, regardless of other considerations ha, I appreciate your posting and sharing the various manager/difficulty codes. It's really helping me shape the game play to suit my tastes... making the CPU defense harder and the offense less boosted. It's the most effective fix I've been able to find on these forums since I started ranting about the boost/balance issue 6 years ago. Thanks.

Sounds promising. I'll look into this when I've resolved the kits issue. Haven't played FIFA 18 that much but find Legendary a lot easier this year than previously... which is boring and has to be changed if my career mode save is gonna last longer than a few days!
It's pretty impressive how effective it is. For instance, instead of CPU offense 10 and defense 1 (Paul's settings more or less), I changed to offense 1 and defense 5. It does two things: it effectively eliminates the CPU boost cheats that are very obvious when the CPU has the ball. Even better, it fixes the weak CPU defensive AI -- which has been an issue for years -- and makes the defense very tough to break down. Very hard to even get a shot on goal. I play 20 minute halfs and I get 1-2 shots on goal per half with those settings. I finally scored a goal this morning after going at least 4 straight games without scoring.
A great mod would be to come up with several different ini difficulty settings so as to change the game play up each time by modifying how well vs poorly the CPU opponent plays, both offensively and defensibly.

Been playing with these myself today. They make a difference and its all down to preference, ability and play style really. I uploaded a quick nightly on my new settings.

what options have changed? I can not change my Locate.ini on account of the mods, I just wanted the lines for myself to change

After a disaster of a release of PES 2019, I have been delayed in my move to the dark side. So, on that note, I have continued to develop this mod. I have now released Version 4 for your enjoyment.
Change notes:
Dribbling by the AI is back without the bugs in Version 2.
Fouls occur at least once a game
Enhanced player likeness (Man City just took my side apart with Jesus, Silva & De Bruyne)

Yes really? You mean PES 2019 is a disaster? Hmm. I tried it the last days, find myself it is not as bad as the last years. I am a Fifa Player, yes, so nice to see you working again on your gameplay! I will try it out.

Yeah, there a couple of reasons PES 2019 is a disaster. I feel like im playing a bad version of FIFA 16, pass-pass-pass-pass-pass centre of goal, pass-pass-pass-flick pass-pass-shot. *yawn*. The best bug is when a player is through on goal and turns back into the defenders.
Anyway. This version of my GP mod has been enjoyable enough for me to get back into FIFA 18. Not sure I want to buy the new one yet, still don't see any reason to buy it.

You have to put the carrer mod into frosty mod manager, mate! Then you can enjoy it. I understand you are new at Fifa modding but to use more mods you can use frosty tools or CG file Explorer. Read here in the Forum about both tools and choose , or try both of them to find your favourite. As example Paul´s career mod is for the frosty mod manager, download the tool install it, description is allways with the tools, after that you can import this mod in frosty MM apply it, start the game with frosty MM and you have the mod in your game. That´s it. Sounds maybe difficult, but if you do it step by step, you will see it isn´t! Try it!
