Hi. That is correct. I recommend staying offline with any mods used.

Thanks Paul for this mod. I decided to give it a go after having too many goals and too opposition men getting sent off with fidels mod
I have only played three matches so far with this mod but I really like it. There are fewer goals yet more attacking(esp from the opposition) and no silly sendings off (opposition) in the forst 30 mins of al most every match.
The game is more balanced with this mod. I had to increase speed sliders by 2 and oppo passing speed by 3 as it was too slow for me. I have marking on 55/55 which makes the midfield nice and tight.
This is a very nice mod.
Basically, it all depends how you like your football. I prefer plenty of attacking but with fewer goals. I dont want sendings off every match
Is there any way, Paul, to make the opposition slightly more agressive without them being over the top with it.
I like fifa to ve very hard and competitive. We have two excellent mods now to choose from. I will stay with pauls for now as it suits my sort of game better.
Pauls mod is highly recommended.

I think so! Hard to tell with these things whether it's placebo or not.

@paulv2k4 could you clarify whether changing those settings has an effect?

i tried changing the numbers and it made the game worse. I have been having some real problems again witht the game. It went way too easy again. im getting well and truly sick of fifa 19. i expect fifa 20 to be even worse

Just to update. I have been using your Version 10 mod and its very good. Matches are tight and gameplay is realistic for fifa.
I am on ultimate level in career mode and have the sliders for cpu at an insanely difficult level. I am playing as Macclesfield in league two and losing as many matches as winning. But i like it like that.The game should be a real challenge. I also have the game on fast settings.
Its the best i have had fifa 19 and i know that everything in fiaf 19 can change in an instant. I restart the game every two matches which seems to help
Everyone like a different style of football. For myself, v10 is just about perfect

They definitely have an affect. It can make the game pretty horrible if you get them wrong.

The issue these have is that it affects; Pace of the game, AI tackling usage, AI skill move usage, AI shot usage etc. They also affect each other and other settings in the game. So just putting 100 on attack will not immediately remedy the lack of attacks. Overall Version 10 will give you the most attacking AI there is, while being balanced.

Crossing was significantly "better" / easier in Version 8 & 9. (Almost too good for League 2 - where I start my Career). If you look at the differences (Use compare with Notepad++) between the two files, you can get an idea what has affected this.

Just did a quick test.

Try replacing the following values.

I use Run Frequency and FB Positioning to make the cpu attack more. The primary one is the former. Currently I am on ultimate level and have this on 55/60. In previous fifa games priort to fifa 17 on top level, this would have the cpu slaughter me. Sadly EA have ruined the gameplay and dumbed it down so much that the game is too easy at times
The modders on here do a fabulous job but none of them are aboe to get into the source code and permanently stop the game resetting itself. I remember having this conversation on here with a modder. EA have gone even further this year to prevent permantent gameplay mods being used
For myself, the main problem is that every single day i restart the game, the gameplay has changed. In other words its got easier. I now reset the game after two matches which is pure insanity. And then when a restart, the game is different. Yes I know that other modders have said theres an autosave solution. I have tried it and it doesn't work
There are people on here obsessing about importing boots and balls and stadiums. Thats fine. But what really matters, is what happens on the pitch
I few weeks ago with pauls 11/3 beta i had the gameplay perfect for a few days!!! And right out of the blue the gameplay changed and became ludicrous. I reinstalled, i reset, i restarted careers. Nothing has got me back to that gameplay.
I have started to just quit matches via task manager now. yesterday on gameplay settings that should have me slaughtered I was three up after ten minutes. boring. I am playing as the worst team in all fours leagues in an attempt to make the game a challenge.
As you can see I am frustrated by fifa 19( as i was by 18) I also dont want every match to be a festival of goals.
I suspect the modders will never be able to stop the game resetting itself and becoming too easy as EA have embedded the coding deep into the game and to remove it would break the game. EA are very clever and devious. I can guarantee that the are already making fifa 20 even more difficult to mod permanently
I have found Pauls ini mods to be the best. Other mods always result in cpu sending offs in the first 15 mins, which ruins the match. two days pauls ten mod was working very well and the gameplay was tough, tight and very hard. Yesterday the same mod was ineffectual. Thats not the fault of the mod but the game protecting itself
Theres a forum called operation sports where they do work on sliders. Its maninly for consoles as the sliders work differently on pc and console. I have tried their sliders on the ps4 pro and gameplay is insane. The pace makes Sheffield Wednesday look fast(yes its that slow) The cpu never attacks and the have the level on world class. How can people actually play the game like that?
People who want an open attacking very difficult game are in the minority. These days people want an easy ride and to silly trick moves all the time. I have conversed with many people elsewhere who think i am bonkers for wanting a hard game and can't se any problem with fifa 19
EA use this mentality to make every version of fifa easier and easier and more scripted.
I have ranted enough. Today I will try a couple of games with pauls ini. If they gameplay is a pain then I will have to leave the game for a while.
I don't believe that the game is too easy for me becuase im very good at the game. Its too easy becuase that is the way the people and EA want it. So far, on on the available evidence. Thats the way its going to remain.
The modders do a great job. Without them we would not even have a few good games as the vanilla game is truly dreadful and unplayable. Tell that to the millions who think its brilliant!!!!!!!
