Passes instead of shooting

Hey guys, have you experienced this problem before. It happens to me frequently...

your 2 strikers are all alone in the penalty box with only the GK defending
when you press the shoot button, the striker with the ball PASSES to the other instead of shooting:puke:. sometimes it's even worse because the 2nd striker also passes the ball when you press the shoot button.

i don't know if it's because im tapping the button to quickly or if im pressing something wrong

can you please help?

Are you playing on the PC? If so i don't actually know the button because i use an xbox controller with mine. Get out the manual with the game and check if you're not sure.

Yup in the PC.

Followed the forum's tip on how to configure the controller so the PC will think it is the Logitech joystick.

However, I think it is not the controller because sometimes it does shoot when using the shoot button. So I think its in the way I press it or maybe I need to press another button or direct the left analog stick or maybe its a PC bug.

So frustrating...
