Oh My God... Wtf? Pc Online Is Rubbish

Here we go again with yet another let down from CONAMI regarding the online play. My online connection has been up and running now for about 3 hours and i must say i'm not impressed.

• Firstly where is Punkbuster?? We all know there are cheats playing online and yet again CONAMI has done nothing about it
  
• STILL APPALLING LAG!!!
  
• Where has the matchroom gone so you can see other players and chat before a game?
  
• I can't play anyone from my own country to reduce the lag now. CONAMI now "fixes" you up with a match.
  
• How do you chat in the game like in PES6?

It really seems like a step backwards.

• Also whist playing online in the top centre of my monitor is 3 green bars. To the left and right of this are some numbers. What are these numbers? If it ping times then my ping never dropped below 3500!! thats on a 20 meg connection.

Something strange also when if reduce the graphic settings then the players seems to be running at twice the speed, far to fast to play. strange.

Laggy and bugged. Well done CONAMI.

Konami have a window up telling you that gameplay is in early stages and that the game may not be smooth but they are working on a patch.

noob or not, the game is on general sale and they admit there are problems, "gameplay is in early stages" they have been developing this game for a decade, how the hell can gameplay be in early stages?

They released a game they had no right to release in its current condition.

I only started playing pes after downloading fifa07 and thinking what a pile of ****e, dowloaded pes 6 n loved went out n bought it and recommended it to all and sundry as "the" football game, pes 2008, yes i downloaded it, and am playing it, but i wont be going out n buying it with the same enthusiasm i had for pes 6!

from graphical issues to gameplay issues there are too many things wrong with this game to justify going out n buying it right now! If they release a patch and all is good then maybe i will go buy it. till then i`ll play pes6 online and try n get my head around this latest piss poor update

If you ONLY downloaded without buying then there's no way for you to play online gaston....You need a valid cdkey to play online so you're either bullshi tting or on the sauce.

But at this moment even with a cdkey you can't play online.....
How can they do this. They had a year to get this servers right. Did they test something over there before they bring it out ?

Sorted, you have to reg online.
Game is def buggy and my 1st opponent picked Real and was 1-0 up at HT, I struggled with the lag and I assume he hosted the 1st half.
2nd half was a bit better and I won 3-1 but he disconnected b4 end, sore loser.
I hope this new patch sorts it out.

playing online is utterly useless. LAG is horrendous..it's, it's just rubbish. No one seems to want to reply to any of my points above.

Does everyone here work for CONAMI? Or are you just as peed off as me with the appalling online game on offer?

I pld another 5 games and yeah it's not great at the moment, it's not just the lag, it feels like a footy game from 10 years ago or should I say Fifa.....I hope the patch gives the game back a more solid feel.
Also too many goals and too much advantage for attackers, defending and tackling are not strong enough.....
The bigger pitch this year and the graphics are the only saving graces so far...feck sounds like I just described Fifa eh............

Yeah I don't understand this. Laggy as hell. Was it pes 4 or 5 that was first online? I cant mind but I remember it played great online from the start for me. Even the last one was pretty fine for me mostly. Aren't you supposed to improve over time not make things worse, how the fook they manage it!?!:Carlos*o:

PES6 was crappy online for the first few months, but after that the lag got sorted out.

do anyone agree with me that barcelona team is VERY overrated in the game? it makes me sick when playing against barca. my men cant catch etoo & co, which are probably twice as fast as my defence plus they all have a 4 times higher scoring ability. almost every shot on goal makes a danger.

and yeah, the matchrooms are totally screwed up now, and the lags make the game unplayable at some times.. it was so much better last year.
tell me one good reason why you have changed the online system, konami!
