I WILL MAKE A SERIES OF THREADS TEACHING EA THE BASICS OF FOOTBALL OVER THE NEXT WEEK- FEEL FREE TO ADD WHAT U THINK.

LESSON 1: IN- MATCH:PASSING

Passing is a very simple thing.... thats what stupid people say.
behind every pass their is a thought or should be, it may be that of hesitation or a measured statement. Passes are based on a players ability and judgement. the judgement of a pass is made by the knowlege or lack of , of the positioning on the field of the players. Players with a high level of ability know where to pass the ball in relation to the position of a player, what foot to play it to, the weight and speed of the ball and height etc. however passing is a complex thing and some players are better and long ball than at short balls etc.



now read my lesson for today carefully write it in ur note book and go to the libary and read up on it for further research.

By the end of my lessons, u should be doing a 6-8month project which should have been started, at the end of this period, you will be tested and compared to the other class in the top group. if u come to their level then u shall be able to the top group alongside them

I will add one now, the most basic of all lessons:
Lesson ½: LEARN TO CALL IT F*CKING FOOTBALL!
Because
A) American football is f*cking boring
B) Real football was there first
C) You barely use your f*cking feet in Yank footy

Lesson 2: Danes are not good at English, thats why we swear so f*cking much while speaking f*cking english :)

BTW. No i do not hate American's i thats what you think, i just like footy better :)

I feel you're wasting your time, since is well known EA doesnt really read this forums, cause if they did they would make an official statement of apology for releasing an untested version. What really pisses me off is that Matt and all those guys had gone to Canada.. and NONE of them noticed you couldnt head the ball, or that the finishes and clearances were scripted and didnt say anything to EA? and this are supposed to be fans? dont they want the game to get better?

Yes, i do.
I am sick and tired of not being able to pass the ball back, because when i pass the ball backwards there are no wingbacks,(i happen to like focusing the play up the flanks) instead a striker will intercept the ball and guess what? i ain't got no centrebacks because they think their job is to be attacking midfielders, the game is simply too focused on the midfield, which results in fatal ball losses, simply because EA think that it is not necessary to have "backup" players so a player under pressure can backpass.

Another thing i don't like about the passing is the fact if i have a unmarked player making a run upfield and a marked player standing still the pass will allways and i mean allways, go to the marked player who will be robbed - if the pass won't be intercepted.

well not for nothing but there is such as think as K.A.I.P.F.P.G. syndrome, I'm sure Matt and the guys did some of that while in EA canada that's why the truth was never told to us........or maybe EA showed them a tested version designed specifically for people like them to play and be in awe

I wish EA read these forums, and I wish they would answer some questions and be in constant feedback with the costumers, but that will never happen.

The British came up with the word "soccer" to distinguish it from "rugby football". Then, like the metric system, the British found it largely too difficult to use (ask a British person how tall they are and see if they answer in meters or centimeters, or whether they give you feet and inches) so kept with "football" as the generic name. Rugby was then split into "union" and "league" and the full names of those was used and the term "rugby football" was pretty much abolished. Just because we took the word "soccer" from you guys when you told us to adopt it don't blame us for using it!

(p.s. admittedly we should have named "American football" something else and adopted the word "football" for soccer though!)
