Caixinha would be a breath of fresh air, but I feel like the media would have a field day with him if he doesn't produce immediate results. There would be a need for a big name manager otherwise the patience level is in the negatives.

Also, Martinoli had it coming. He's a piece of shit.

I think he'd do a good job. He's a good coach, understands the region well, and would have no shortage of motivation having been laid off by their biggest rivals.

Eh, I wouldn't even be that opposed to it. I mean he's gotta be a better candidate than Matosas. Would never happen though, since the media would go apeshit and never give him a proper chance. They'd be asking for his head anytime Mexico doesn't annihilate its opponent.

So far Matosas, Caixinha and Tuca have said no. It's telling how shitty this team is when decent coaches don't want anything to do with it.

Bradley sounds better each coming day. (H)

I think Mexico has very good players but probably lacks on an identity/structure.

Bielsa wouldnt be a bad option to finish what Lavolpe started a decade ago. He put Chile back tp elite and left a great legacy.

Bielsa would be a pipe dream, but the way the Mexican federation is run I just don't think it would mesh well with Bielsa. There's no way he'd make cheesy commercials nor enough appearances to satisfy the directors. If they really want to win it would be a great candidate, but if they just want a puppet Bielsa will not come near.

Supposedly they formally contacted Sabella. Hated his anti-futbol tactics in the World Cup, but I'd take him any day over Lavolpe or Tomas Boy.

habemus, national team coach. Bielsa resigned as Marseille's coach and all signs point to him being the new trainer for the Mexican national team.

Bielsa leaving OM because the directive and then signing for Mexico is the new "Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have other".
