Odonkor, he is younger, plays in a far more competitive league than the BL and most importantly doesn't travel with his brain doctor.
:| Great argument. Maybe we should replace Lahm with Moritz Volz because he plays in a more competitive league. And Mertesacker/Metzelder with Huth.

A 20% fit Deisler over Odonkor any day of the week, that's a no-brainer. Odonkor is not and will never be more than a nice sub in the second half. It doesn't matter if he plays for some **** team in Spain or not.

When Schneider retires in 2008 there should be a few more youngsters ready to play for the senior team: Trochowski and Hilbert for the wings, Rolfes, Polanski, Castro, Boateng, Ottl for CM.

Or simply Schweini on the right and Borowski on the left.

Don't be a prick. I also said he is younger and is fit mentally. Deisler for as much as i like him has spent the last 5 years eather in the psycopathic institues or fixing up his fragile frame. True when fit is damn good but is a health liability. And to add to that Odonkor when utilized as better fits him can be explosive, not to mention that he can run the 100 yards against any sprinter :D

Wow, Deisler>Odonkor any day of the week, Deisler is mentally stable and your making him out to be some sort of crazy homeless man fresh outta the insane asylum...Odonkors got great skills and blistering speed, but Deisler is the better player IMO..

Gomez scored the first one.
Well, I online read the ticker on livescore.com and it says P.Helmes for all goals.

Now it's 3:1. Goal scored buy a guy who is probably of German descent. R. Stefan.

Glad to see the U21 team a doing good, so Deutschland vs. the one little country I forgot how to spell, I think the score line will be 6:0. And about the Odonkor vs. Deisler discussion I started, I would choose Odonkor, he is very fast and can make good crosses, like in Ger vs. Pol and Ger vs. Ita (damn Podolski), although I don't know much about deisler, but he just seems like one unlucky player, and won't fit to play a lot, plus Odonkor is on a okay team (they won La Copa de Ray, or something like that in 2005) in a far better league, and can improve vastly over the years.

Starting spot for Borowski

Borowski had mostly been forced to come off the bench during the reign of Low's predecessor Jurgen Klinsmann and also failed to make the starting XI when Low kicked off his campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 home win over Republic of Ireland.

"Tim has trained very well over the past days and he will certainly start, although I still don't know yet who has to make room for him," declared Low ahead of the game against the European minnows.

"We want to win and we are going to win. I am absolutely sure that we won't embarrass ourselves," stressed Low, who will hope that a win with a high margin could help his team to claim first spot in Group D.

The Germans are without a couple of defenders as Per Mertesacker and Christoph Metzelder, who featured during the World Cup, and Robert Huth and Jens Nowotny are not fit to start.

But Mainz star Manuel Friedrich and Hertha Berlin's Arne Friedrich will be given another chance to prove their class after not conceding a goal against Steve Staunton's team last week.

I think he will replace Frings for a much more attack minded german team against San Marino
