Il grande talento Alexandre Pato si allenerà con il Milan e potrà giocare le partite amichevoli a partire dal 3 settembre 2007. Dal 3 gennaio 2008 in poi potrà disputare anche le partite ufficiali.

who the hell cares about Anderson? Pato is the real deal (H)

He signed a 5-year deal but will only be eligible to play for Milan in January.

Pato will come to Milan tomorrow to do all the medicals and join up with the squad.

Fee mentioned is about €15m (his buyout clause) while another €5m will be split between him and his agent so the total is about €20m for Milan.

He needs time though. He's only 17, he cant even be given a squad number due to his age. He will only be able to play in January, by then he'll be 18 and he can be inscribed.

You can just see it coming...

Official: Real Madrid signs Kakà

...in 2008

Then Milan buys Carvalho, Gerrard and Eto'o with the money from Kaka's sale. :(

You jealous bastard!

Milan is saving Serie A with such a purchase. What the hell are Inter and Juve doing? :(

Can't take a joke huh?

Juve are just trying to get in the top 4. With their purchases so far they are top 6. Juve are not a factor this year so you guys have to worry about Inter, Roma and Fiorentina.

haha of course I was joking, how can you take it otherwise, Marko? :(

but Im serious, Juve, Inter, Fio, Roma and even Milan are not doing anything and its frustrating.

Trust me, I'd be one of the happiest people on earth if one day Quaresma, say, signs for Inter. But its not going to happen.

I saw Pato at the U-20's and he played with kids 1-2 years older than him and he was good. One game or two he didn't do much but still scored those goals. You can see the talent is there. He just needs the good environment and he'll be great.

and yeah, it's sad to see some of Serie A's best leave the league along with the best from other countries but the money is in England, Spain and those guys in Munich.

There's still some young guns that could come in Italy next year so it's no desperate times.

Starting XI
Nice debut :)

However, it should be taken with a grain of salt. Robinho also had a spectacular debut with Real Madrid a little over two years ago, but didn't end up doing much until this season. That's not a knock on Robinho or Pato, I'm just saying we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves.

Robinho played 20 minutes and hardly did anything on his debut except for a few flashes of skill. Maybe it was good, but incomparable to Pato's.

Starting XI
15 or so mins. Man it's kind of funny seeing that clip, he is so much more of a complete player now and a hell of a lot bigger too.
