I always was a big fan of the fifa series ... (by lack of better).. but since i can play PES3 on my PC i even uninstalled Fifa 2004 from my pc. After playing PES3 ..Fifa 2004 plays slow .. too little creative moves , ...PES is simply more realistic.

I have to admit that i had to get used to the gameplay ..i hated it at first because i couldn't score a goal and allways got yellow cards and reds ... but i LOVE it now!!!! .. I still have to get to know the menu and settings but that's just a matter of time.

I'm playing it with a Logitech gamepad ( look exactly like a PS2 gamepad) so i can use all the buttons. The only problem is that i have to tell the game everytime i start it that i want to use that gamepad.. and not my keyboard.


Sooooo that's it ... just wanted to shout out that i LOVE PES3 !:rockman:

Did you see we have a 'sticky' topic about the game settings, especially about strategies and tactics..?
It is on top of the main forum and is called something like "New Pessers read this"
Maybe that can help you out with the menu's and settings :)

setup your controller under the setting.exe in your pes3 installation folder! player1 should be logitech and disable the other players.. :rockman:

Have patience man. I bought WE 6, played it for about 2 hrs and was so frustrated by the difficulty that I didn't come back to it for about a month and a half.

When I came back, I was hooked. I could not stop playing. You need to forget EVERYTHING about FIFA to truly excel in this game. :mrpimp:

that is because like you we also used to play Fifa because nothing else was available. Then thanks to these boards and Konami we had a choice and most of saw the light when we played the iss/we/pes series. I had many people on here give me options for playing this game on PC through and emulator which made me see enough to know how great this game was. Then Gazza from here brought his ps2 to my house and we6fe and well the rest is history. I bought a ps2 just for this game even though I had an x-box already. So like many people on here we just try and share the love. I let a co-worker borrow a copy of we6i today because I am playing we7 now. So once again welcome to the tribe and spread the love

Keep at it, the learning curve is a steep one; but once you're 'there'- you'll see how great this game really is! Konami have always known how to produce great games.

Well, the speed-related issues are a massive oversight on Konami's part. Once you get your graphics card settings, and screen resolution combination right, the game plays really well. I find that 1024x768/ 2xaa, 4xaf; on a Radeon 9700, with a P4 2.4c work well. I've set the 'aa' and 'af' low, because I normally play my games (Madden NFL 2004 / GTA Vice City etc.) at 1280x1024 (new 19" monitor- iiyama Vision Master Pro 454(HM903DT A)).

Yeah, welcome man.

Although I release a lot of stuff for the game, I actually still pretty much suck at it. I can play on three stars but any higher and I'm crap. Love playing the game though, it pisses in FIFA's drinking water!
