It won`t matter the Fox Engine will bring money for MGS not PES, only if they bring in fresh coding talent from the money they make from MSG. May be PES 2020. :innocent_smile_1:

With all the mods available on PC, and with all the editing and modding that's actually required to make both PES and FIFA play like actual football, the only worthwhile platform is the PC anyway.

Doesn't look next-gen to me, looks like the level of graphics you'd see in a game 3-4 years ago. We should be expecting photo-realism or something close to it with these next-gen game engines and consoles. IMO those screens and that game cover look awful -- the player graphics are cartoonish and looks amateurish at best, something we've come to expect with PES.

This screen in particular is truly awful. Konami releases a craptastic screenshot like this to show off their game?! Unbelievable that their marketing dept. would think that screen is going to impress people and make them want to buy the game, because it does the complete opposite. Based on that screen, PES 2014 looks like the same old mediocre and halfazz Konami junk. If they can't even produce next-gen level player models, faces and artwork, can they be expected to produce a game with next-gen level gameplay? No.

Wow, this game still looks like utter shit and the screenshots are downscaled to a smaller size! At a high definition resolution it's going to look even worse! And I can see they still haven't bothered putting anti aliasing/msaa options. I rather buy Fifa 14 recycled on PC than the looks of that, lol!

LOL! The modeling and texturing looks like it was done by an amateur.

I would not judge anything till some gameplay footage, but honestly, pics didn't impressed me at all and I'm not very optimistic at the moment. "PESish" look is still here, I can now only hope animations are not...

Looks like this year we won't have a good football simulator.
I won't judge PES only by those 3 screenshots because they were made in night in stadium lightnings and etc, I'd like to see their neutral face expression and day screen but face expression of players are really awful (just look at three the same mouth's epxression - Bastian, Muller, Robben) and also at awful similar smiles (Neuer and Lahm) - all they are not realistic, expression like in 3D shooter in bad 3D shooter, don't like it (about cover for PES 2014 I think that image was photoshoped a lot), also hands-fingers models and skin texts are awful, also bad T-shirts model, nothing great for me (bad face expression, bad hands and body models, bad T-shirts style).

Wow, i looked and those screens and thought, well they can render smoke particles well, shame a bout everything else. If they were making a military simulator with fire they might have something ... dear me is anything going to be impressive anymore?

The player holding the cup looks .... "special needs" .. sorry but I had to say. This was also like the pre renders for PES 2013 I thought were next gen footage, just very similar with those "plastic manikins" cartoon look.

Actually it just hit me what this looks like. You know how Rockstar stylise GTA with that real but more cartoon style, its as if they are doing the same. Infact if someone said this was football mod using GTAV engine, I wouldn't think twice :)






Bearing in mind thats the GTAV engine for current gen consoles.​
