No FIFA 14 NG for PC!

This is preparation for the FIFA 15 with a new engine for the PC read a little!

You really think they will make a new port for PC of a Xbox One/PS4 game in the future?

No, this engine (FIFA 13) will be used in the next couple of years. We get new squads/kits (with mistakes) and updated 3D grass (what you can't see, only in replay's). It's the same story that EA always does. Good thing I didn't pre-order FIFA 14 yet (PC), they expect PC users are people that don't care about gaming or that PC owners have lower specs than a PS4/Xbox One.. Well I don't care about users that have low specs, just give them a switch so that (special) effects can be disabled and they will enjoy the game to. But for f* sake please allow mid/high-end users enjoy the game as a console gamer does. My machine cost twice as much as a console, has equal ram, can be upgraded and I can hook-up controllers without any problems (playing with a Xbox 360 Wireless Controller right now).

Do I really need to buy a console and a big TV for a football game? EA doesn't care about PC gaming (anymore), because they think no one will buy PC games. Well that is because the support of EA is simple the worst piece of sh*t I ever seen. Game-updates, Origin doesn't install the right commentary, game crashes that doesn't fix anything.. pfff.. Hope PES will give me a better experience...

No, but doing a problem that announced new engine for FIFA for the new consoles and not on the pc And this applies FIFA 14.
Think about how FIFA would emerge in January or in December, for example, it can be horrible t complaining, Why so late?.
And we know that somehow have come into the market of new consoles that promise innovation! Therefore, FIFA 14 has to go in September. These are painful market law. FIFA 15 will be at 100% on the new engine on the PC because why not? You know the last time you have to earn money for PS 3 and Xbox 360. This is the market!

It is not because FIFA 14 will be (a bit) better than FIFA 13. It's about the new PS4/Xbox One are getting a new engine. An engine that could easier be ported to a PC because they are running on the same architecture (x86).

Maybe it would also be easier for EA to develop the PC version as main and than port it to consoles.. but yeah, the console version will be bought more, so we have our answer right their.

Unwise move for FIFA PC gamers, while a lot of the PC gamers are the lovers of the game with maximum quality - unfortunately EA is not the only developer who able to bring it ..

The main reason for this is the fact that the console version of the game is harder to crack. Less pirates increase the profit of the game. Oh, and another fact is that the PC gamers are more than the console gamers. That leads to a forcing maneuvre of buying next-gen consoles, that will increase the profit for both console developers and EA Sports itself.

Thats actually worrying news becuase it confirms they are prepared to spend dev time for a split engine format for a long time, and that doesn't sit well seeing as they already have lumped PC against CG consoles by this move already.

And yes as been stated plenty of places its all about contract to the big boys of MS/Sony to push sales of NG console units at release time.

And this time it makes even less sense, since both new consoles are x86 based and porting them to PC should be way more straightforward.

Also, this time the new consoles are not even launching with more powerful hardware than high-end PC's.

yh your right, but Battlefield 4 is coming to pc and its Next gen, so that cancels out EA's reason for not bringing fifa 14 to pc.
