Hey NK,

Finished 2nd in championship. Oxford United stole a draw from me in the 2nd to last match
assuring I could not win top spot. It was a very difficult game for me to try and win. It seemed
as if the gods would not allow it!

So in the new season, given that I didnt get offered a job to one of the premiership teams I
wanted, I opted for a move to Le Championnat and Paris SG. Of course this is a MUCH better
team than Reading on paper and it was pretty evident how much silkier some of these players
are. Well we have started the campaign 5-0, two hard fought 1-0 matches, then a 3-1 win
away at Strasbourg, and then dismantling of Nice and Auxerre 3-0 and 4-0. I have UEFA cup
to look forward to, but maybe no really tough matches! But the resistance is there.

The nice thing is the goals I have scored have come from many positions. The feel is definitely more realistic and I have had many shots that were stinkers despite my deluge of goals in
the last 3 matches. We'll see how long my fast start will last!

I am definitely having more fun with this gameplay.

Yeeah if you try your best you can win practically every match, you gotta put everything into it though I think, otherwise it's lose or draw. I get unlucky and hit the post though and have scored some beautiful long range goals, feels great doesn't it!!! Before they were ten a penny, but now a gorgeous long ranger feels like you've earnt it, or did something right! :)

Yes, thats exactly it!

The big difference for me in these gameplay is that I feel that I earn the goals I get, and
more importantly, the CPU EARNS the goals it gets! No more unbelievable shots and
floating telegraphed headers. I love it! When I lose, I know its because I, ME, I defended
poorly, or didnt get the job done, and thats great.

I lost a few matches with Reading towards the end of the season which cost me the trophy.
But they were earned wins for the CPU. The game against Oxford U was very frustrating
but in a good way. I couldnt score, and they pressured me pretty well keeping me honest,
then they scored! I was desperate and managed two scrappy "chaos in the box" goals in
a 5 minute span and everything looked grand, and then OU scored the equalizer and I
couldnt get it back! Damn! But it was a fun game.

hahaha, yeah! :rockman: It's really fun when you score in the last minute, knowing you HAVE to, but when you can't, well...I personally like to foul every player I can lol...only out of frustration though :boohoo: haha.

But one of the main things I worked on was getting the CPU to pressure more and play fairer, you know...instead of them just having a few passes then scoring a goal you can't score.

Some people aren't good enough for Xpert and think the goalkeepers are unbeatable, but that is pure bullsh!t. Like I said before, they are probs good at making chances, then just take shooting for granted. I want the user to 'think' about the shooting, not just crack a shot from anywhere, but create a good scoring chance! And sometimes you can tell when you can score and put it in the back of the net from way out!! :rockman:

a good game. after 7 mins i hit the post and was displaying some good attacking moves. after a few half chances i took the lead through a good cross and a clinical header(lustrinelli shoved stam out of the way for it which i liked)
there was hardly any resistance and i kept attacking. it was as if milan weren't taking me seriously or they were pissed(drunk). in the 37 min i hit the post again from outside the box, from the resulting throw in i skilfully jinked my way through two defenders at once beat another and hit the post again in the 39'. a goal was on its way. sheva gilardino kaka were all isolated. pirlo didn't do anything. they couldn't cope and after a quick break i doubled the lead with a header. a brilliant counter attack which completely overwhelmed the defence. 2-0 just before halftime. after the interval nothing much changed. i kept hold of the ball and created quite a few chances. in the 74' i scored again after another quick break. perfectley executed! 3-0!
they pulled one back 5 mins from time but the damage was already done! 3-1 at the end!

i am a decent player and i still havent found a way to beat a keeper in world class... even on a breakaway with a prefectly aimed shot with full (blue zone) power from 15 yards...so i just edited the .ini's in the fifa.db from xpert to a little lower than professional ratings.

Hey Tai

Yah, unfortunately because there are only three "skill settings" is hard to find the perfect balance for every player. There have been many times in the past, especially learning the game, where I wished Icould make "professional" just a little bit stronger, than jumping right to World Class.

Hey nk, I've really enjoyed the xpert update so far. It was a little frustrating a first, but it was nice to get to get a good challenge out of the game. And don't listen to that douchebag who was complaining about the the number of updates you've been making. So ******* what, if you don't like it don't download it. Whatever tho, keep up the good work man..i'm looking forward to any gameplay updates you might make in the future.

I'm not sure if I'll release anything for 07 just yet, but you never know. the PC and 360 version will keep me playing, and if the pc needs a lil' upgrade I'll try my best :jap:
But personally I hope I don't have to, the game SHOULD play great out of the box and if it doesn't then NK FOOTBALL is here!

i was in contol in the first half when they scored from a long range effort 5 mins before half time. i equalised with the last kick of the half. then 1 min after half time i scored again. sporting equalised after a dive near the box and a header, in the dying seconds i got a free kick just outside the box. i crossed and headed the ball into the top corner. 3-2! in stoppage time!
