I haven't got a chance to play the beta yet. Won't get to until sometime on Monday.
But I did like the delay system a bit better. It allows it to feel more like football. You can use the stand-still skills now and actually make controlled runs at defenders when out on the wing, something that the last beta didn't let you do.

I'm making some real good changes to the emotion engine. e.g. Playing a derby game won't be a singled out crowd for home and away fans, but rather home and away support will be amazing, though home fans will have MORE support, the away fans will be loud and proud! It's a great feeling.
More emotion in dramatic events, fouls, offsides, shot, saves, injuries, bookings, it's amazingly cool! I love turning up the crowd noises and hearing the ROAR when my player gets a break-a-away and the boo's when the away team foul my star player. It's wicked.
As for gameplay itself, I'm creating a slower, more paced gameplay feel. Less "wow" more tactics. You've got to pass.

The ball physics are going to be re-done. Just found a bug in the passing of my physics and what sucks is everything else is perfect.

great. Thanks! Still hoping that the offense will be toned down, its really hard to have 1-0 or even 2-0 games now. just too easy to score both for me and the CPU

well games now are much slower at getting around the pitch and chances are less. I had a 20 min game where in the 1st 45 min the cpu had managed 5 shots, 1 on and me, 0 shots at all. Very tight game.
Other matches have been more open, but this game was showing how some games can vary much better then before.

I think the problem is, the shots you take from a turnaround or standstill seem to be too precise. they happen way too often, to get a good shot from distance you need a running start to fire it in the corner. ball possession should be a priority, but the cpu always runs at me with tireless fatigue all game long when im passing it around in my end. that causes the game to be too fast pace, forcing me to rush ahead and attack instead of slowly working my way forward.
so if the shots would be made still more difficult to be accurate from standstills, goalie kicks a little further, and less rushing CPU, it would be almost perfect and not give so many offensive chances to each team.

everything is re-worked and improved from ball physics to cpu. I've re-done the physics and am still tuning it all to slow the game down.
It's more realistically challenging rather than challenging video-game terms, I've tried football-challenge. e.g. cpu is hard to break because they mark up, NOT because they send 2+ players' at you constantly.

Actually i was interested in the Captain Tsubasa patch for Fifa 07.So can you tell me what that patch does and how to download it and if it'll be in english?
