Well, I went ahead and tried it. It can be installed seperatelly, however, I can't uninstall it now.

It slows down my computer like crazy and all I see is a little bit more glow on the players' heads. Nothing really worth the huge slowdown. And yes, I have a new system so it's not my PC.

Is that all this patch does?

Luckelly I backup everything first.

Nothing good ... just slowed down my FIFA, it lags ingame ... pff Styphelus pls upload the backup anywhere ( if it's clean - not patched b4) cos i won't play with this mess anymore

I can't upload a backup because I don't know what files it changes. I just copied my whole Fifa 08 folder to my D drive before I applied the patch. Than after I deleted my main Fifa folder and copied the contents of my copy back in.

Those screenshots by the way, just show Fifa at a very low res and I can't see any improvement at all.

Its the widely spread LOD hack
it mostly changes the players hairs at a distance, by default everyone have long hair, LOD hack makes them as they should be
Clausengineer you should have added
render rate hack and the mipmap tweak aswell, that would probably make the game smoother

Anyway,i've tried that tweak but then the game wasn't looking too good. :'(
Maybe if some things wouldn't be changed in the file the game would still look good but i have no idea about which ones should. :B

the NG details patch replaces the default cfg_pc_h..find the original cfg_pc_h from the dvd n replace it back..

FIFA 08 Ganeplay Editing

You seem to know a lot about Fifa 08 editing. Can you help me do some gameplay editing?

Such as,

I want to change shield mode of fifa 08 to how it was in fifa 07. fifa 08 shielding simply doesnt work.

I also want to change the Slow Drribling to how it was in WC 2006.

Got any answers??

Hi Clauseengineer, your realistigameplay is excellent but after friendly match the game return to main menu. i want to have original (EA) possibilities : replay the match, replay with another team, etc... So which parameter must i change? Soory for my english.
