Another win thankyou very much, and whats more it seemed like another good performance! :lui:
Man U away next, followed by Liverpool at home...should be an easy 6 points there then! Seriously though...I doubt we'll have much joy at Old Trafford, but I think we can get a win against Liverpool at home. A small matter of getting to the Semi-Final of the FA Cup after that...only Chelsea to get past.

It has been a very entertaining game from both sides. Parker, Emre and NZogbia particlarly caught my eye. I don't get it why Parker wasn't called up for the England squad. Is Sven blind or something?

my first post in this thread...

well honestly...dont u guys feel that Parker is your new hero? honestly...i can say that whoever(Newcastle fans) say no...then either you stupid or you blind...

he is extremely hard working & the game vs Bolton is probably one of the best in his Newcaslte's days...he made many (again...MANY)important tackles...pressing the Bolton's mid very well...&he is totally great...

unluckily...this guy WILL NOT be call up for the WC...he deserved to make a trip to Germany.. (atleast)

:nape:

Just wanted to drop in and say that I'm happy for you Newcastle fans. I was tired of seeing a such great fans, money, talent and stadium wasted by an imbecil such as Souness. Hope you get a good manager like Ranieri or something.

Roeder really is doing a good job...unfortunately I don't think we can technically have him as our manager given the FA's rules about qualifications...but each game he's our manager the more astute we look. He's got the trust of the players, and has good coaching techniques. He was a good defender in his day and that really has always been our weakness, he's resolved that quite quickly.

Big tests for him coming up in the next 2 weeks though...also I'm not sure what he's like in the transfer market. Souness to be fair was pretty good in that department, he did bring in some quality this season in Emre, Parker, Owen, Luque (IS a good player and couldn't be considered a bad buy at the time...I personally still think he needs time and support), Solano...

Starting XI
Shearer puts it down to confidence but it's clearly more than that. We're playing with proper tactics. Getting the ball wide and thus creating a lot of chances.

Bolton is simply a game we would not have won under Sourmess.

After all Roeders been through with his health problems, etc i think he's just happy with his involvement in the youth setup. He ruled himself out of the job anyway. I hope any would be manager makes full use of Roeders coaching expertise though.

Roeder has pretty much cemented his place within the Newcastle ranks, I can't see Shepherd allowing someone with his knowledge leaving the club under whoever the new manager happens to be.

Congratulations to Newcastle United fans.

Solano's return to Newcastle has been very important, he is a classy player.

But the player that shines for me every single time I watch Newcastle United is Scott Parker. He has become the most important player in the team and I'm sure Newcastle will not be the same team without Parker.

Sven is an absolute fool not to include him. I'm a Man United fan but I have to say Sven surely should pick Scott Parker over Phil Neville, Jermaine Jenas as Carrrick. yes, Parker is a much better player.

Another player that is equally as important for his own club is Gareth Barry, and I believe he deserves to be called up too.

The only thing I can think of as a reason Parker isn't in the England squad is that he's seen as being a bit rash and over-committed, and on the international front that could be exploited by other nations, leading to him being carded.

That's an explanation...not my view though...my view would be that Parker would absolute eat players alive and be exactly what England need. They need someone to sit between defence and midfield to allow the likes of Lampard and Gerrard to play their natural game.

Beckham is the captain and will start...and I wouldn't like to drop Joe Cole now...so it's an interesting one...but Parker should AT LEAST be given a chance to train with the England lads for a friendly! Newcastle are a big club, it's not like he's a shining star in a poor team.

i thought that only Malaysian league requires football coaching certificate...btw: i do think that roeder does have 'basic' coaching certificate...which is enough for the league.. :)
