New Updates Causing Game Crash

No matter what update I install, and yes I have installed the 5.0.2 patch prior to installing the updates, the game crashes right around late August/early September 2004. Anyone sure they have an update that won't let this happen or one that can fix it? What's going on here?

Best thing might be to reinstall the game(The save-games won't be removed so don't be bothered about that)... And try to live without an update as some of them do lots of crap to your game.

I actually tried uninstalling and reinstalling, although I did put the new patch and update back in there, thanks though X, any other suggestions?

listen, uninstall the game, install the game, install 5.0.2 and start a new game, do NOT bother with any updates, then tell us what happens

Ok I will, but I've had the game for a while now and before I installed these updates I never had this problem.

Ok, I uninstalled/reinstalled with the 5.0.2 patch and used CMSorted's Update and that seems to be working fine, although it only takes you about halfway through January.

Updated Transfer/Competition Name Sites

I'm using the CM Sorted update with 5.0.2 which is great but only takes you about halfway through all the January transfers. England and the major European changes I can do manually with but does anyone know of any good websites that lists most of the other European transfers? Also, how bout a site that lists competition names, I'm not too familiar with what South America Leagues are really named? Thanks

I really wouldn't know any site that specifically lists transfers, but try asking in the soccer forum

I eventually found out it was the 5.0.2 patch that was causing the crashes and not the updates so I apologize for saying it was the database updates. I'm just going to stick with things the way they come with the original game.
