New Sub-forums?

It has come to my attention that the PC Editing forum is becoming increasing difficult to navigate. With areas of interest such as adboards, mods, graphic patches and boots, we can't have sub-forums for each of those sections - what sections would you most like to see added?

There will not be more than two new sub-forums. Choose wisely.

Co- sign w/ houtonj :Boots and Graphics (includes popups, logos, adboards, pitch etc)
But we need to also have a support line or something so when ppl have problems w/ their games they do not create new threads or spam all over).

why don't we make it 3 section which is :
- graphic section(boots,adboards,balls,kits & etc.)
- Add-ons (gameplay, patches & etc)
- Question & problems (because most people posted new threads even when they asked new question and when they have problems)

There is already a support thread for questions and problems. If there is a problem with a patch or other download, problems related to it should be posted in the thread about the patch or download, or a PM sent to the creator. Bear in mind also, that there still needs to be content in the main Editing thread, so ther eis no point in making sub-forums to include everything in the forum.

Is it? Sorry. Don't quite view all the thread. Its just a suggestion because Its annoying to see so many new thread when the thread got nothing. Just silly question and sometimes request. Maybe you can do something just to make this Forums look much more organized.

could it be possible to allow threads to have certain topic types like balls, boots, adboards selectable from a pulldown menu during topic creation... Then the topic title has a ball icon next to it if its a ball mod topic , a boot if its a boot mod topic etc... Then perhaps a minor page filter could be used to show all topics flagged as "ball". I then assume this method would allow massive amounts of topic types to be added to thread creation without the need of many new forum sections.

Just an idea...

Well Rafiqs has basically all the categories here...

So I'm going to group what he has posted.

First forum:
Balls
Boots
Adboards
Flags

Second forum:
Menu Graphics
Pitches, Nets, Crowds, Stadiums
Graphical Patches

Anyone else with me on that??

The idea is not to group all the categories into two, it is to make finding specific stuff easier. If I divided all the categories into two sub-forums, what would be in this forum besides links to sub-forums? I was thinking more along the lines of one sub-forum for Graphic Patches (Switcher, EAFH Stadium/Pitch enhancements, Adboards etc.) and possibly another for Boots (although I may be biased there, so I remain open for suggestions) or Mods (A patch that modifies the game such as new teams/leagues or roster updates) - more along that line. Keep the suggestions coming in, though - your input is appreciated. (Y)

I think that by the most simplest logic, the two graphics that have the most # of thread in the editing fourm should be given their own sub-forums.

I would also suggest the possibilty of combining a Stadiums sub-forum with threads to do with Adboards, Nets and Pitch Updates, as they form an essential part of the stadium model.

Also, on the part of making another sub-forum for patches and miscellaneous add-ons. I personally feel that would be a bad idea as it would involve users having to click into three fourms to get to what they want. Sure it can work for kits and faces and othe graphics that have a lot of users, but for people that are making individual projects such as myself, I'm not sure if people would bother to look through another set of fourms.

Nah but editing forum doesn't have many makers at one part. There are huge quantity of makers but there are not more than 10 makers in each part visible.

Maybe graphic forum and others(gameplay, teampatch etc)will be better
