the thread is "tremendously active", but the discussion has moved onto next season, especially with the first transfer of the new season David Villa ready to be unveiled, and Cesc lined up as the next in-coming ... considering pertinence, the new season thread is actually already a couple of days late in being made ...

I said "why so early" because it seemed to me -- justifiably so, it seems, by our current conversation -- that it would be considered "early" by those looking at the discussion from the outside ... but if one considers the topics of discussion in the thread for the past couple of days since the David Villa and Cesc stories appeared, the talk has clearly moved onto next season; and with the club having moved onto next season, I don't see anything that could really move the fan discussion on this forum back to the 2009/10 season ... it's done, it's dusted, let's move on ...
