You have two choices - either simply restore the whole 'FIFA 08' folder into your 'My Documents' (if the reinstallation does remove it) or just copy back the 'B. Manager - ...' folder (which works just fine - I do it all the time with problem data that people send me)

i got my patches to work but when i go online just about to go to the lounge my ea screen go's away and a message appears say your page aint redirecting properly someone did say it was down to internet explorer 7 but i aint sure never had this problem before can anyone help as i aint played for 2 months lol

Patch cuts out half way through installing.

Hey guys. I’ve tried rebooting, tried downloading it again 4 or 5 times, but when I try install the latest patch for Fifa 08, it cuts out half way through. Doesn’t come up with anything, just cuts out when the red bar gets to 8£%(ish).

I have vista, any ideas what it could be? Getting frustrated. I can’t do the roster patch either.

What do you mean by 'cuts out'?? Do you get an error dialog or does it just crash?? If it crashes have you tried running the patches in XP compatability mode??

I can’t do the roster patch either.

You need to install the roster patch before you can install the second patch, so you need to get that one working first. Does it fail with the same error??

Sometimes I get an error dialog and sometimes I don't. Sometimes it will say something like "old version found, therefore update not complete". And the roster patch usually just cuts out with no error.

If ity says old file not found, than you are trying to install a patch that is for the wrong version of Fifa.

Make sure the patch you download matches the version you have.

I'd love to help you get it working - after all, my son is a Fiorentina supporter, rather than following any English team - but you've exhausted my knowledge of Vista. If you've tried the XP compatability settings then I'm all out of ideas and have no personal experience of that OS.

I bought a FIFA08 online License... download the game but cant install... I try many times until been desesperate... the download manager doesnt say anything abour errors... but when try to install CAB files always get ERROR

but I got my serial number, so...

I get a DVD copy to install... everything works fine, but...

...I can play online because of the 2nd patch!... the ENG.DB file apears to be altered on my DVD, so I cant apply the patch

Could any one email to me the ENG.DB file of Nordic Version???
