That's strange, usually the kit used in the finals of a comepetition (this case, Euro 2008), is used in the qualification for next one (World Cup 2010).

Or am I wrong?

I don't think that it's a fake.
Possibly at adidas there will be one new kit every year and not from competition to competition 2 new kits. Like Umbro.

France have a sponsorship deal with Nike starting after the World Cup, so it could be this kit is used through to the end of their Adidas contract so there isn't a new kit needlessly brought out for 6 months in 2010.
