Hey guys, haven't posted for a while I know and I know we have a lot more pressing matters at the moment, such as what's actually happening on the pitch, but I thought I'd bring you some news that will excite some, but I know some of you will say "Who cares?"...

I recently started up a job with ADIDAS Australia and can say I have seen our Away shirt for next season and also the full range of leisure wear.. whilst I can't show the pictures in fear of losing my job! I can tell you the away shirt is....... FLURO YELLOW!

Look forward to hearing some opinions on this....And if you have any questions ask away!

I dont think sponsors are allowed on NT kits actually?

you always see Brazil have "Coca-Cola" on almost all their training gear, but not for the main kit. Obviously there is a reason.

Yeah, Eircom is only on the fan shirts I believe.

As for the Chelsea shirt.....I like that flourescent colour thing. Barca's one looks cool so I don't have a problem with it.:mexican:

yeah sponsors on NT shirts are for fans....although the Aussie team back in 1999 had hyundai splashed on their kit when playing a few games... i think it was in the days of the FIFA World Stars etc etc...

The shirt itself looks okay... the back apparently is solid black though which is really crap!

And the shorts are totally horrid!!

That one pic middle left shows a bit of the back, there's stripes there. The black block will just be the bit around the numbers (not that this is much better, still sucks).

Sorry to disagre but really like the new home shirt of newcastle.

Its messing up tradition, all clubs who wear stripes are having this problem now, because some rimjob at UEFA had this weird and wonderful idea about numbers having to be seen. I know the Toon have had a square behind the number in the past on many occasions, but this takes the pee.

Seen a number of kits in the CL this season spoiled by this pathetic ruling, e.g. Barça with plain blue back, Inter with plain black back - yet numbers are easy to bloody read on their domestic kits.

Yeah, they wear them for non-FIFA/UEFA recognised matches, e.g. friendlies against club sides - think they wore the Eircom logo when they played Celtic last year.

Though if I recall sponsorship on national team kits (including in competition) was yet another crazy brainstorming idea that that football AIDS virus Step Ladder had in mind!!

AJAX AWAY 07/08

From the fansite (FSide) so this will probably be the new awaykit for Ajax next season. I'll know for sure in a few weeks cause they'll be wearin' them in the last game at the end of this month. Looks a bit like the Chelsea awaykit

It's highly unlikely that that neon yellow Chelsea kit is real. That shirt has already been released in the US by adidas. It's a goalkeeper shirt.

but it may be as im a newcastle fan
