Here is my 2nd gameplay update, feel free to try it and enjoy the really huge improvements that I've made. These improvements were 100% made after watching and analyzing many real world football matches, so try to play as much realistic as possible, because trying to run with the ball with no thinking is going to give some hard time with this update. Chose good formations and good tactics and have fun!

You'll find full description for the update inside the installation package, for now here is a ruff summery of the major changes in version 2:

Ball Physics:

1. Very realistic ball bounces.
2. Reasonable ball air resistance.
3. Marvelous ball rolling and reaction to ground. (Also on rainy turf)

CPU players game style:

1. AI CPU to the max.
2. No more 3 seconds attacks!
3. Slower CPU defense.
4. More tackling and aggressiveness. (Meaning more fouls!)
5. Much more attacking and tackling styles.
6. Difficulty variety improved.

CPU goalkeeper game style:

1. Intelligent GK.
2. Over GK chip shots enabled.
3. Much more realistic jumps and saves.

Game Pace:

1. Life like passing speed.
2. Normal speed attacks.
3. More challenging gameplay for human users.

Note: Fully compatable with OckHAM's CEP 0.12.

Played about 4 games in a CPU created Tourney with Man Utd. Lost in the tournament final 5-3 in penalties to Porte Preta or something from Brazil I think. I had about 16 shot to 2 but couldn't see it into the back of the net.

In the semi-final I edged Everton 1-0 in a good game. The CPU still doesn;t seem to attack as well as NK's last gameplay if I'm going to offer some constructive criticism. You seemed to address most everything else.

I'll keep playing and reporting...

exerslow, try going one level higher, if you are playing in Professional then shift to World Class... I want you to give me more details. your last report was great. waiting for more.

I like it biggy, but I also had a tough time scoring...I actually couldn't break thru the defence, but I was playing Costa Rica against Croatia...I played 3 games 0-0.. 0-0...and a 1-0 loss.....I had no luck with crosses either...the fouls seem to be perfect..I havent played enough to give you a more detailed take on things...but I will continue playing and let you know.

Dave: After I've watched 7 matches that I downloaded from the net, I found out that out of every 3 crosses one only actually reaches the players to the right place, and that particular cross that reaches could also be cleared by the defence, which comes to a conclusion of 5 or 6 strong crosses in one match, and I'm talking about 45 min matches, so in a 10 minutes match on Fifa we should have even less crosses in order to reach realism, which what I exactly tried doing but not in the exact way, I mean you can have more crosses; even for the shots, I saw some games in which strong teams end the matches with only 5 shots on target! and that's all in 45 minute matches. I've also made the CPU and Human defence harder to break, just like in real life games where you can have 1 attacking chance every 3-4 minutes, I tried making it more the same in this update, so that you can have 1 attacking chance every 30-45 seconds.

I had some games where I won 3:0 and some others where I lost 2:0, which I think are reasonable scores.

My first three Legendary games w/Biggy gameplay V2

Well , upped to legendary and started another "pre-season" tournament with teams picked by the CPU versus my beloved Man Utd. Most of these teams are lesser sides but I like to see the kits et. al. installed with the CEP and I'd never get to see them otherwise playing in a career with Man Utd... but I digress

I beat the first team 3-0, had two goals inside of the first 10 minutes. One weird one from a sharp angle by Rooney and Saha headed home a beauty quick cross by Park. The CPU attacked fairly well but I was defensively stalwart. Shots were high on my end but it was a 3 start team or whatnot.

Second game I won 2-0, I hit Saha with a looping pass over the defence and he corralled it and slotted home clinically (should have saved THAT replay...couldn't for some reason)...

Third game 3-1, They were holding me until the second half when Allan Smith supplied the sublime finish to a Ronaldo cross, Saha scored the nect one on a through ball one-touch finish, and then Giggs headed home a corner.

The gameplay seems pretty good. I'm able to spend a little more time on the ball than just an all out CPU defensive swarm, which is more realistic, but playing all these different hard gameplays I've become a lot better at FIFA ingeneral, more patient and better timing on the passes and shots so it's all a process.

I've included three replays for the first two goals of game one...and the first goal of game three

GOALS:
1) Rooney stuns the horrible keeper with a laser from the side of the penalty area (first Legendary goal)

2) Saha heads home after a quick United move with Park as supplier...

3) Allan Smith(Smudge) howitzers home a Ronaldo cross as it falls to the deck.

As an aside to what 10Ruud was saying, it is hard to make a good cross, just like real football. If you want to enhance your attack around the penalty area, indulge more in the shorter, so-called "early" cross, I use it around the box a lot and it has pace and accuracy......see Allan Smith goal in my replay file previous post.

I've grown accustomed to working it around and taking short touches to pass, often one touch, and this open things up and creates lanes and opportunity. Racing down the pitch at breakneck speed allows the CPU to hone in on and double the man on the ball, often trapping that player, I use a lot of back passes to the defence and work my way up all the while looking for that chip over or through abll that can slice open the defense.

I'm going to go play soem harder teams toi see how I fare aagainst them with the new gameplay.

I actually enjoyed this update! I believe it is a good push in the right direction to how this game can be played, it's got a good balance to it, the shots on goal are fun and the overall difficulty is quite balanced. I'm liking the ground passes, the ball bounce is cool, it's different. Crosses are very good.

I enjoyed this 2nd version and think the 3rd (if there is one) will be somewhat it's 'own gameplay', in which it will feel as though you can tell Mr.biggy has made it. You start to get a feel for the gameplay editors work after a while

This is a new flavour from NK FOOTBALL, so it was enjoyable to play something that had a different approach. Nice one Biggy.

Aight, went and took some time to play a big match.....England V France, to ascertain how the big boys defend and attack.

Game was great.....My first shot on net was at the 77min mark! France defended superbly in the first half and on into the second. In the first half I was trying to press them a bit and really try to force the action with speed and long balls, but Gallas, Safnol, Thuram et al. would not leave any cracks.

My first shot was Beckham from about 35 yards..Not real close.. I had found him in a little space off a change of possession and decided to see if I could locate that former United long distance magic..to no avail.

I was impressed with Biggys gameplay + Frances skill making things particularly tight and rough.

Then into the later stages I started to really build up in an effort to pressurize France. I substituted Beckham (who was fatigued) for SWP and brought on the creativity of Joe Cole in an effort to open France up. Still they did not relent. It ended regulation 0-0 and I had 5(3) shots to their 3(2). Very tight!!

Since it was a friendly I opted for extra time. Then, in the 104th min I unlocked the defence with a short flick-on to Rooney in the box who raced diagonally toward the touchline before his hard quick snapping cross found unmarked Owen on the far post, who headed past Barthez!! I actually went "YEAH!" it was such a superb maneuver from Lampard, Rooney and Owen.

I dominated extra time with posession and France had nary a sniff, failing to register a shot in the extra periods.

Great gameplay Biggy but perhaps what I said earlier still stands a bit and that is the CPU attacking needs to be tweaked toward what I think NK had going...OIther than that..perfect.

Thank you soo much guys for the reports on this update.

The attacking style of the CPU is going to be tweaked as much as possible, Ive actually played 6 games where I had England then Brazil as my teams, and for the CPU it was either Germany or France.

First match I was Brazil and the CPU was Germany, The Germans had some good headers on me, I kind of jumped out of my seat each time they had a cross into my goal side, they scared me with there playing style, lol. The game ended with 1:2 for Germany in which the CPU had one goal with a header and another with a super charged shoot from outside the box, The match had 6 shots on target for me and 8 shots for them which is very realistic.

I'm already trying to improve the attacking system of the CPU, the problem is: with the modifications I've made, the CPU goes a little bit crazy whenever I increase its attacking technique, so I may need sometime to tweak everything to the best.

I've found out that even the ball gravity does really affect the gameplay! that's why it's so sensitive to simply change any value string. Don't worry guys, I'll try my best.

Note: exerslow, I've watched the replays and I loved them! I mostly loved the goal done with a shot from a low cross!

I'm comparing the files of both NK and your latest versions to see if I can help with what I think might be the CPU attack aspect..boy! lot of info in those few files!!

I had wanted to save the replay of the England goal Rooney and Owen combined on but I encountered that buggy replay situation that crops up now and again where it won't let you go back past the players standing at center after the goal getting ready to continue..

I've just finished a game for Real Madrid Vs. Mallorca, I'm playing in manager mode.

The bad thing about Real Madrid is their low team chemistry, too many good players with unbalanced positions.

Anyways, I started the game fine, did 2 crosses but the Mallorca defence got both of them and cleared them away. As match time advances I started using the magnet technique where I had the ball being passes between my midfield and defence, I kept doing this and of course trying some chances whenever I had one, unfortunatlly Zidane couldn't co-op with ronaldo and robinho in the right way, so I had a strong game until the minute 77, I had 4(7) shots and the CPU Mallorca had 2(5) shots.

I had the chance to run with robinho to the left side, his fast speed made the Mallorca defence seem useless, so they just stood a little bit away from him just to block his cross, then Robinho delivers a perfect cross to the other side, the goalkeeper tried clearing the ball, but it just passed away from him to find Ronaldo's head doing a dive header to score a MARVOULESS goal! I went "AAAAAAAA, nice one ronaldo" lol.

I kept Beckham for the second half where I substitute him with Zidane in the minute 78 (Beckham had a yellow card so I didn't want to lose him for another one, but I need him now). Anyways, just 5 minutes before the end of the match, Robinho steals the ball from a defence player in Mallorca and flies with it until he stops at the edge of the box, where other defence members were waiting for him, so I pass the ball to Beckham, he runs with the ball a couple of feet then he bangs a curling ball to the far post from outside the box to score one of the most amazing goals I've seen him do since a while in Fifa 06!

What a game... haha... I'm loving it. the match ended with a 2:0 score for Real Madrid.

You know i wish someone would tweak the shooting. Shooting diagonally in the game is a nightmare. Not talking about the fact that they are so hard to get(defense being tough to shoot on) but the fact that everytime i try to shoot diagonally it ends up going wide to the far post. If i try to push it a little less it goes straight ahead and the goalie always deflects it

I see what you mean KULCAT, but actually I've scored a couple of goals from a diagonal angle! I also believe that other members have experienced diagonal shots that scored, just like our friend exerslow. If you go to page 1 of this topic you'll find a post by exerslow with some replays of goals done by him, one of the replays have a diagonal goal.

Anyways, I'll be working on this issue as much as I can, I'll try my best! For now, I hope that you'll enjoy the other features of the update.
