Nah, just everyone in the city is a die-hard Spurs fan now that they're winning. The past two years were pretty quiet around this time. I should be used to it, I guess. But as a neutral, it annoys me.

The NBA Commisioner must be really SH**ING Himself over the T.v Ratings. This cannot be good for the NBA.

I think the NBA Draft will have the highest ratings ever, and could justifiably have the first round on ABC.

Offtopic, BUT.. Lebron had his second kid the other day? Isn't the guy only four years out of high school? No ******* way I'd want to have one kid, let alone two, 3 1/2 years from now

Worst. Playoffs. Ever.

Hell yeah. I'm a casual fan but even I usually end up really into at least one playoff series and definitely the finals games. I've been at home all week and I couldn't even be bothered to watch this thing.

That is because you don't have a job yet let alone LeBron's amount of money.

Worst NBA finals ever.

doubt that they'll be getting another outrageous 4.5 billion dollar tv deal like they did the last time......this league's ratings are just so pathetic, man.

I wonder why it does so poorly in the South?

Well even though you beaches make fun of me when i state it you gotta admit that having the Knicks and Lakers do well especially in the playoffs is paramount for the league to benefit. That is why it's a shame talents like Oden and Durant will end up in places like Portland and Seattle..

therein lies the catch-22 with big market teams, though. They need to be super, bottom of the tank level ****ty in order to get talents like Oden/Durant, but the media and fans won't allow them to rebuild because being that ****ty in those markets is just simply unacceptable.

but definitely, the league needs its Lakers and Knicks.....it ain't the NFL, man, where capacity crowds can be drawn from just about every corner of the continent. The NBA has a very tenuous hold on the average North American sports fan....except in some key pockets, of course.

That is exactly why i hate the way the NBA handles the lottery and that stupid salary cap. I mean at least look to change one of them. Either give all teams equal opportunities to get the first pick REGARDLESS of their record so certain small market teams won't sacrifice a seasone just to get the first pick or get rid of the salary cap and keep the same draft format so you also give a chance to struggling big market teams to be competitive in the market.

That way you the league gets better and the rating will go up the sky.
