NBA Playoffs Thread 03-04

We have 16 teams qualified everybody , there could be some changes by Saturday and if there are I'll just edit this post.

East:
1) Indiana Pacers 61-21
2) New Jersey Nets 47-35
3) Detroit Pistons 54-27
4) Miami Heat 42-40
5) New Orleans Hornets 41-41
6) Milwaukee Bucks 41-41
7) New York Knicks 39-43
8) Boston Celtics 36-46


West:
1) Minnesota Timberwolves 58-24
2) Los Angeles Lakers 55-26
3) San Antonio Spurs 57-25
4) Sacramento Kings 55-27
5) Dallas Mavericks 51-30
6) Memphis Grizzleys 50-31
7) Houston Rockets 45-37
8) Denver Nuggets 43-39


I will post the matchups when the regular season is over this week, I'll make sure to do it before Saturday.

If that were to happen I would expect a very defensive series between the two. Scores in the 70's very tough games. It is all defense when the Kings and Mavs play.

i want us to get the mavs in the first round. that way if we lay an egg i can be at peace for the rest of the playoffs. i dont want us to play ****ty thruough. if we play a good team, we will see if we are playoff worthy. otherwise, we dont deserve to go through the first round.

Well Hornets can't get it anymore because the best they can finish is 41-41 and they only hold the tie breaker against the Bucks meaning that if the Hornets win their last game, the Bucks lose their last game and the Heat win their last game...........the Heat will get the 4th spot the Hornets will get the 5th and the
Bucks will get the 6th. There are more possibilities but that's the one that I like best I'd much rather play the Heat in the first round than play the Bucks even if BD is back and healthy and Magloire is coming off a Eastern Conference Player of the Week award.

Yeah baby! We the Mavs won tonight and whooped the Griz, now we sit in the 5th spot. Hell yeah! I hope we get a date with the lakers. I want us to boot them out right away. I win against the lakers would give us so much respect. Plus seeing Kobe and Shaq cry after the game would be priceless.

I hope someone can injure Bowen before the playoffs begin.. I hate that dirty bastard.

No because the Nets have secured the 2nd spot and the Hornets can only finish 6th or 5th the Nets will play the Knicks in the first round, nice 1st round matchup

If the Heat get home-court adventage for the 1st round, then we'll really have a chance.

So far I think Detroit is the only team to finish all 82 of their games the rest of them will end tonight. This has been the Pistons 3rd straight 50 win season , I remember how bad they sucked a few years ago.
