EDIT: I played around with a live blog a few years ago, which I really liked, but blogspot clearly just wasn't a good place for it. I think I'm going to Twitter it this year. I think Twitter is pretty damn stupid, but it's also pretty perfect for live blogging an NBA Draft.

The Nets have to draft either a wing or PF that can rebound and bang inside. I know nothing about college ball, so I don't know who'd be a good pick for us. That Henderson guy does seem appealing as he can play SG/SF, although he's a bit undersized. Hansborough also impressed in his workout for the Nets, so they could take him. If we can't draft a PF we can always try to throw some money at Millsap, but the Jazz can match any offer, and they'll most likely keep Millsap and let Boozer walk.

In other news, Richard Jefferson is going to Spurs. Can we throw them into the discussion for contenders next year?

Parker + Manu + Jefferson + Duncan? Hell yeah. They could have done it this year too if they didnt have so many injuries. Just look at their bad start this year with the injuries... Take that "off part" of their season out and maybe you get the best record in the regular season. Havent actually done the math, but..

Certainly Title contenders now, whether they get the best regular season record is different. The Spurs are notorious for going on cruise control in the regular season to save energy for the playoffs. But, they'll be there in the playoffs. This is great for the NBA, cus now there are six legit title contenders. LA, Denver, Boston, Cleveland(LeBron will drag them into title contention, again), Orlando, and now San Antonio.

Yeah it looks like Hansbrough to me. James Johnson, the 260 llb MMA star and karate blackbelt is also in the mix.

EDIT: And Ric Bucher says that the most likely guy is Gerald Henderson, so who knows.

Shaq to the Cavs for Pavlovic, Big Ben and a 2nd round pick in this year's draft. Certainly gives the Cavs options at the 5, either you throw in Z who can stretch defenses with his perimeter shooting or you throw in Shaq who can bang down low. Although both are old and injury prone. Could move for the Cavs but definitely not the final piece of the puzzle IMO.

Also just reported that VC's on his way to the magic along with Ryan Anderson for Rafer, Courtney Lee and Tony Battie. Orlando is officially the best team in the East now.

Jameer, VC, Turk (if/when he resigns), Rashard, Dwight? Jesus Christ.

meh. Nelson is just a regular season point guard. and VC isnt a star/great player, not anymore.
Even with VC playing GREAT i doubt they can reach the finals again.

I'd be surprised if the Magic re-sign Turk if they get VC. If the trade goes down, good luck to VC, he deserves a title. Same for RJ.

Shaq is gonna ruin the Cavs chemistry, btw. Which is good, because the Nets will now win the LeBron sweepstakes.:innocent_smile_1:

Edit- Ah man, I don't want to give up Ryan Anderson. He's a good player. Can't we give them Yi. :(

Love Henderson! Terrence Williams was the first choice but Henderson is exactly what we need. An athletic aggressive SG that will be able to back up Raja Bell. He's gonna fit great in LBs system. I still can't believe that LB and MJ drafted a Dukie though.

Hahaha Rubio's father said he might go back to Spain rather than play for the T-Wolves (H)

DeMar DeRozan! Next VC? Hopefully without all the drama though.

I just read on SI that the reason the Nets traded Carter is because the team is up for sale. Some Russian oligarch wants to buy the team. (H) Woohoo, just keep the team in Jersey, get rid of that POS Ratner, and I'm happy. We get to have our own Roman Abramovich. (H)
