I'm coaching Roma for 3 seasons and now im starting the 4th and i've won everything possible during these seasons.
In the second season i've got offerd the Czech Republic job, took it and won the Euro... but my true desire is to coach the Italy team, so after they failed in the Euro and Lippi got sacked I applied, but they picked Ancelotti...
Ok thats understandable.. he's a great coach with a big record and all... but i wanted to check if i could have got the job if he wasnt there, so i cheated a little... i made a new user to be the Italy coach, retired and applied again with my real user. but then they appointed this totally unknown Reggina coach or something! I tried the same trick again and they did the same! some end table coach!
I dont know why this is happening! can someone help?
Oh, BTW.. my nationality is Israeli.. maybe thats a factor for them...

This has been a gripe of mine since CM 01/02 when I was an American winning everything with Liverpool and when Sven got sacked England hired a coach at Hull. Not even a manager!! For some nations, nationality does mean something and I think Italy is definitely one of those nations.

I've been offered the England job while managing Cannes and Cameroon though. Maybe getting a good result in the world cup (3rd) with a smaller nation helps.

I feel your pain. As an Australian in my Serie A game (no other leagues), I, despite having a good reputation, can never get hired by Argentina, Brazil or Italy. Even more frustrating is that, the country I want to manage most (Australia, obviously), is unavailable for some reason. That said, I've had an application for the England job accepted and been approached relentlessly by Portugal (which I took up for a couple of games, only to quick soon after).

FMM should be able to. Load your savegame in FM, then load the gamedata in FMM, and search for your name. Clicking on your nationality will allow you to scroll to other ones.

I applied for Italy, Spain, and Holland with a World Class rating and they all rejected me. I had to settle for Mexico.

I was given the Romanian national team job after winning the Romanian league for a second year but I had troubles getting the Steaua job.

I was Spanish when i got the Brazil job. Also could have got Argentina. Got the England job in the first season at United. Won the premiership. I dont think the season went well. I lost a few games and had a few dire results but Arsenal and Chelsea slipped up.

Hmm I have not had that many problems with this...In my Fiorentina game I coached Portugal, Brazil, Italy, and England. For me as soon as I get a worldclass rating I can get the manager position on any NT. Right now I just got the Portugal job and its only after my first season at Tottenham. I also got offered the Mexico job but rejected them.

after 1 yaer of traning JUVE i get the job of Manager EGYPT

then bruckner of checz had retired i get his position & win EC

untill now i trained JUVE for 3 years

Portugal offer me , i accept their offer & ley checz & try to qualify them to WC 2010

I don't know much about this game but can u coach/train ur National team? and if yes, How? Also why can't i place an advertisement for coaches/scouts/physios etc. for the national team?

I became manager of greece begin 2007/2008(after the confederations cup), only to become Portugal manager a year later(after EURO 2008).

Never really had success though with a national team. Up until now my best record is a semi-final in the WC 2010 with Portugal.
