Yes, I'm sure. The SI xml guys couldn't figure out how to do it before the release, so they decided to skip until further notice. Something with the free agent players was the problem, I think. Not 100% certain there.
For clubs you do the same as for players (unique ID as "name".png), but use the "...\cm 03-04\data\graphics\pictures\clubs" folder in stead of "..\cm 03-04\data\graphics\pictures\players" (create if non-existent).
