Now dont get me wrong, i love FM and will continue playing it for as long as i can, but there is one thing about the game that is really buggin me; its becoming so damn deep and complex.
Now most people would think of this as a good thing as it means the game is becoming increasingly realistic and more enticing. But for someone that really doesn't have the time and really doesn't want to have to spend hours on perfecting a tactic and making constant alterations to several different factors of tactics etc. its becoming increasingly frustrating.
The problem now is that i feel like i'm really not enjoying the game as much as i used to back in the days of CM03/04 because the game is becoming so damn complex that i'm just not able to cover all the parts of the game, actually gettying anywhere and enjoying it. There are just so many factors to consider on matchdays etc.
I think SI are beginning to run the risk of creating a game that is so incredibly deep and complicated that people are just not going to be able to have the time to play it and enjoy it.
Also waiting for the first patch is becoming annoying, there are definately a few bugs that really need sorting:
- Equalisers coming 2-3 minutes after the first goal FAR too often no matter what you do with tactics etc.
- Formulaic games becoming far too regular - i can predict that in 8-9 games out of 10 against mid-low table clubs i'll go 1-0 up at half time, they'll equalise early in the second half then my team going all out attack to scrape a 2-1 or score a tonne of goals in the last 10-15 minutes of the game.
- Too many goals almost directly from kick-off.
- Man marking instructions not working.
- Ridiculous amounts of club takeovers.
- Floods of injuries too often.
