I left the Romanian league loaded after I left so I'm able to answer that.
Within 2 years they basically sold all their players and got new ones, which was a bad move since I got them good players. They sold them cheap. Some of them moved within a year of that for big money to a big club.
They hired Hristo Stoichkov after me which was a mistake because he was able to last only a year and a half. They won the league their first year with him but then finished an abysmal 5th the following year. They didn't do anything in Europe those two years.
After that they hired Ukrainian Oleksandr Shovkovskyi and have had him there ever since, which is an impressive 8 years. He's won the league each year except on two occasions where he got 2nd and 3rd. He's never made it past the Champions League or Europa League group stage.

The African Champions League runs differently than Europe. The qualification goes through January to May and the group stages continue in the new season (for South African clubs) in July. The knockouts are only two rounds - semis and final because there are only two four team groups.

World Cup time! Let's see how far I can go with Egypt. I was able to achieve a record best 6th place in the world with them, mainly due to winning the ACN. I don't know how WC seeding works but I was only able to get a 3rd pot seed with them even though I was 9th overall at the time. I got a fair group: Netherlands, Columbia and Iraq.

Yeah I need to win the African CL, then I'll move to Argentina. I kind of placed my eggs all in one basket. I signed a lot of players to just one more year of contract as they are getting to be 32 years of age or more, and promised some key players I'll let them go at the end of the season... so the time is now to win, I'd hate to have to rebuild for another year.
After winning the Euros with Holland, ACN with Egypt and Cameroon, and Gold Cup with Canada I'm getting laughed at for applying for the South Korea job. FM

Nah, I'd definitely remember if that was a feature.
Doing this multi continental challenge and managing in more "unknown" countries has definitely presented a lot of small bugs I didn't know existed. e.g. I'm about to play my first African CL group stage match at the start of the season and haven't had the ability to play even one friendly to prepare for it.

Some interesting shit in African CL.
So I realized that the team Wydad Casablanca was stronger than Sunshine Stars so in my last match against Sunshine I conceided 2 goals on purpose by changing to a shitty tactic when I was 2 goals up. I wanted the 100K prize money but wanted Sunshine to have a decent goal average. Which turned out to be important because they qualified due to one goal (head-to-head they lost to Wydad).
Then something funny happened. Instead of facing the 2nd placed team in the other group I had to face the 1st placed team, the best team of the continent: El Tunis. That was very strange. This to me was the real final.
6 minutes for a hattrick, all in the course of 4 minutes.
And that was his first game back from a 6 week injury AND he was facing a team of his natinoality.
I have to admit that I was scared when they got their 3rd but then the next goal put the game on ice.
I want to take credit for playing a part in the other semi final game. I took Keizer Chiefs to a penalty shootout (that I lost) in a cup game 3 days before their first leg at home against Sunshine. They lost 3-1. The next game they won 3-1 but succumbed to penalties which means that in the end I got my wish of playing Sunshine again! The only downside is that two of my starting MCs are injured. My expectations are very high to win, I must win. I'm taking so much care of my squad that until the first leg of the final I refuse to play any of my starters and will play 3 matches (3 days rest between) with my back-ups.
