Thanks guys, I keep thinking I'm finished but keep going back to touch up a few things but I think I'm definately done this time. I haven't uploaded it yet but there's a newer version where I have updated his face a bit more and also added in the thumb on his left hand which I forgot to do before. D'oh! :p

Dude, that's crazy!

So how do you do that? Do you really paintbrush from scratch, or like do you have the original picture as the bottom layer and then you add more layers and paintbrush over it parts by parts?

What I did was put grids over both images in 2 different windows as a guide and just paintbrushed and used other tools to copy what was in each square, so that's why everything is in the precise place. It's not as easy as it sounds though, it's really tough trying to do all the shading and textures. :o

very close! slight imperfections in the mouth and the nostrils are slightly bigger but very good. :)
