I still have my two pairs of gloves...yes two. One for training and one for matches. I don't remember exact models, but i used Adidas gloves for training and these really comfortable Diadora gloves for matches...never got worn out even after a couple years...but then again i would only put them on for matches.

I had a similar pair like those Puma's a while ago, but they went to hell pretty quickly. Now I have a few pairs of Fingersaves, two in the E3 blue/white/gold colors, and my newest ones in black and orange E4. The E4's are in good condition, and I use them for games. I use mainly one pair of the E3's for training, but if they get real wet I take out my other pair.

I don't rate the E4S palm but then again I don't really rate any of Adidas's gloves.

I actually got the E4S's by accident. I had ordered Uhlsport's Supportframe gloves, but they sent me the E4S instead, and I received them a few days before my first match of the season so I didn't have time to send them back, as my training gloves were in poor condition. I ended up liking them a lot, but not as much as the E3S's.

I'm looking to buy some new gloves with good grip to replace my gloves which get slippery when wet because I've had some incidents were the ball has slipped through my grasp in my old gloves, but one game my friend let me borrow his Selsport gloves which have excellent grip (and are signed by ,and once belonged to, ex-Hearts, Falkirk and Ayr United keeper Craig Nelson - He wore them in the 2002 League Cup Final against Rangers).
I saved and held 12 shots and parried about four in a match which was won 3-2.

It all depends on how well you've treated your gloves to be honest. I handwash mine after every match/training session/kick about. If you wash all the dirt out, it extends the life of the palm.

My personal favourite glove make is Reusch. Although most of the people I know say that the Sells Adhesion Wrap+ is an amazing glove.

Anyway, if you go to www.great-save.com, they have an end of season sale on, I'm sure you can find some great gloves for cheap. If you need anymore reccomendations just PM me :)

P.S. Thanks Rony (H)
