couple o matches later, im 17th in the premier, with the 1 point i got from chelsea, about to face liverpool at anfield,
kicked off, and in 10 minutes 1-0!, patrick kluivert bsnged one in from 20 yards, in the first half milan baros got a hat trick for liverpool, second half he got another then was foled in the box by aaron hughes who was sent off, owen stepped up and slotted home liverpools 5th, 5-1 to liverpool.
after holding arsenal 2-2 in a hard fought match, i faced southampton at home. bellamy and jenas put me 2-0 up at half time, then ebattie beattie parhars svensson made it 4-2 southampton at full time.
newcastle and charlton fighting at the bottom only 2 points seperationg as they go to face eachother, the pressure was to much for the toon as they crumbled in the first half going 3-0 down, but, a shearer hat trivck made it 3-3 to rescue a point.
Fulham would be newcastles first league cup match, 2-0 up with 20 minutes to go, 2-2 with 5 minutes to go, 3-2 in the 90th minute, 4-2 in the 92nd minute, newcastle found themselves an early exit.
Leeds at elland road, easy, no chance, 2-0 down 20 minutes gone, 4-1 at half time, then a scoring spree by viduka saw a 6-2 win for leeds.
would newcastle ever win.
next was man utd, a not very confident newcastle banged one in after 8 minutes, bellamy the hero, then in a hard fought second half, nicky butt for newcastle scored against former club to make it 2-0 and secured newcastles first win of the season.
as it stands newcastle are bottom 1 point off of charlton.
