MSN Messenger missing replies

i seem to be missing replies from msn messenger, it cuts certain bits of what people say to me and i dont understand why
any ideas?

also, ive uninstalled and then reinstalled so thats not the problem and am currently using an older version of MSN

Means your internet bandwidth is being used by some other application. If u are using a p2p program for example. Not very likely but possible.
Other than that it could be that you have some security related software causing this. Not very likely too, coz usually they either block something completely or they dont.
Cant think of anything else atm...

More likely the person you're speaking to is using web messenger or something wank like that.

Web/Mobile MSN - horrid.

i dont think its that as most of the time a message will read, this person is using bumbuddy or somthing. and also their picture will be that company logo or whatever.
