After at least 50 games trying to get accustomed to the new controls.
I can only say: Wow! On a gamepad or keyboard the gameplay is pretty much the same as in previous versions (improved of course,but the same feeling is there when you're playing). But on the Mouse + Keyboard it's a whole new game! Brilliant, the vision and the way you play changes almost fully, and IMO it's closer to being realistic, i mean you can create more inventive real life plays than with a gamepad or keyboard, there aren't much limits. I'm amazed by it!
But there are a few things that i cannot find, so i hope we can help each other out by trying to make a small tutorial for these controls and tricks.
I cannot find the ''one-two pass'' combination (on keyboard it's: Q+S)
Also i get it that all the passes are on the left mouse click and you determine the depth of the ball by clicking on a certain part of the field, and the height by how long you hold down the left mouse click, but what if you want to send a long ball to another part of the field that isn't visible? You should be able to send a low and high ball there too.
And for some reason there is no finesse shot (lob is right mouse+ left CTRL), or i can't find it. Although i really like the shooting this year. I think maybe the finesse shot might be incorporated into the right mouse button in the same way as passing is, cause only after the power indicator goes more than half way through the balls go higher.(generally)
Also is there a way to change and play with the keeper without clicking on him cause that is a bit annoying and not quite quick, with the players you can just roll the mouse wheel and it acts as S did or Q does on keyboard.
I can't figure out these few things.
Ok, here some things i did figure out, to curl the ball from a corner or a free kick, you combine the view and the cursor, and when you hit the left or right mouse button, you move the cursor left or right from where you're aiming while the power indicator is filling up depending on the direction you want to curl the ball.
To make a first touch or make a bigger run with the ball or suddenly change the direction of your run, while sprinting (space) hold down the mouse wheel and drag it in the direction you want to go or receive the ball.
Anyways, to me this Fifa is a major improvement!
