I hope that doesn't create a rift between them. Would be an incredibly stupid reason though. Zlatan is new, shouldn't be told to just pick a number. On the other hand, Martial's reaction is very naive. He's still a kid though so he will grow up.

Why didn't we go for Pjanic? In 3 seasons Man U spent close to 100 m pounds on midfielders; Fellaini 27, Herrera 27, Schweini 13, Schneiderlin 25 and now Mourinho wants a 100 m midfielder.

I'd say give Herrera his chance. He was good in the first season. He can score from midfield. Herrera + Carrick or Schneiderlin; thats good enough IMO. We have donw it with much worse midfielders in the past.
