I think both manchester united and real madrid are global brands and have large followings across the world. Living in Asia, I know how big a fanbase manchester united has here.

I think most hated club has to be united or real. Personally, i hate barca and chelsea. I believe hatred is down to the success of a club. The more successful you are, the more people are gonna hate you.

And people hate Chelsea because some dude just keeps pouring money into the club, and some dude at Madrid ruins the transfer market. If you work for the club, you represent the club, especially if you're entrusted with something that could be broadcast worldwide. It doesn't matter if it was Laporta, Pep, or some random, low-tier worker who did it, it was still a Barca action.

I personally hate Barca because of the fans (not just SG), and this attitude that they're the Gods' gift to football, when really their manner of playing bores the crap out of me.

I don't think any team is worth hating for one individual action, be it from a player, a team president, or some guy running the sprinklers. I'd love Madrid if they'd made one ridiculous purchase or only had one douchebag on the team. I wouldn't mind Italy if they'd only been dirty cheating bastards in one match. But we know it's more of a history with them.

Hating the fans on the board is understandable, but I hope you guys also understand that they don't represent the whole fanbase.

I don't think you even read my post. No one said that they hate Barca because of the sprinklers ordeal, nor did I say I hate the fanbase because of the SG fanbase solely.

You cited the sprinkler incident as proof that Barcelona are bad losers, and then you justified that reasoning by saying that the sprinkler guy is a club representative. Then I responded that one incident is not enough to tarnish an entire club, no matter who it is. I think it's a pretty clear line of logic.

And the "SG fanbase" comment was meant for the board in general. Lots of Barca hating going on based on the SG fans.
