Well I play mainly with Newcastle and have found the following:

I think Shearer looks horrible, his hair is way too dark. On the other hand, Kluivert looks about right.

Rooney's face is by far the most screwed up in the game. Most of the EPL faces are done exceptionally well though.

Not sure if his face is made or a random generic one, but Tommy Mooney at Oxford is garbage, he's got a Hulk Hogan like hairstyle. Also allthough it's not his face Robert Wolleaston is White, with short hair and a beard in the game. Yet black with a big ass afro in real life!?

Ronaldiniho is really good, worst.. Simon Davies from Tottenham looks anerexic.

I don't think Pedersen has a face, does he? He is a hxll of a player to have though and he's capable to give me 10-20 goals each season playing as midfielder~!
