More LEAGUES!!!!

EA, here's three reasons why I didn't buy Fifa 2003 for the XBOX or PLAYSTATION 2: (and no I can't play the PC version I am a console gamer)

1) No Greek League

C'mon EA, you guys need to put in more leagues.

No Fifa title should ship, unless I can:

- Create a team in the following leagues
- Create a player in the following leagues
- Take that team to it's league grand final and win the cup

Here are the major soccer leagues you simply MUST include in Fifa 2004:

- Brazilian
- Nederlands
- English (duh!)
- French
- Italian
- German
- Scottish
- Spanish
- Greek <---- Greek!!!
- Australian (c'mon ... please!!!)
- USA

Those leagues give a well rounded "world" view of soccer, Oceania is represented (Australia), The Americas are (Brazil & USA), Eastern Europe is (Greek), the UK (English and Scotland), and Europe (the rest)

2) Create-a-team

This is Football 2003 had a really cool feature, you can create your own team and take them to the cup.

Me ... I play soccer for a small suburban club, I want to be able to re-create MY team on a crappy little oval I can name.

I want to be able to DRAW the logo, like how games such as Jet Set Radio Future allowed you to draw your own graffitti, I want to be able to draw my own logo AND draw my own jersey pattern.

3) Create-a-league

This is REALLY important, more important than including the UEFA cup etc.

If you had a create-a-league feature, then I could create a league called "The EA cup", or "the uefa cup", or "The Zeke Cup" and have my OWN teams (yes even my crappy little suburban ones compete)

Create-a-league and create-a-team is SOOOOOOO important because it gives people a chance to create the Russian league if it's not included already (sure it's time consuming but if they want to create all the teams, including Lokomotiv Moscow they can!!!)

4) Create-a-player

Nuff' Said really ... except it should have a similar system to Smackdown! 2 (a wrestling game) ... in that game, it's probably the closest you'll get to recreating your friends in computerized image.

Hope you read this EA, and I hope these things are in Fifa 2004, until then, I'll be playing This is Football 2003, and whatever other game gives me customizeable league and team options.

you cant represent the Americas to the fullest without the leagues from Argentina and Mexico, they're some of the best in the world.

Screw the leagues... the game needs REALISTIC GAMEPLAY... It doesnt matter how many leagues are in it... every fifa has the same horrible gameplay... screw the leagues... no difference anyway.. Everyteam plays the same anyway.. and I can throw a league together with the best teams, and then play as worst team on the game and still drub Man-U, Real, AC Milan.. 3-0 easy.. on World Class... I will nevere buy another version of fifa... I have Winng Eleven... I will rent fifa to see how bad it sucks again this year and then return it... Its that simple...

look at WE? there is actually NO national league [only Master League]...

but... can you put this game down once you start playin it? no, even though it doesn't have any leagues.

FIFA has enough leagues already, they should work on their plastic-ass gameplay this year.

LOL I know the idea of the ML is much better! 3 divisions of the top teams in the world, with promotion, relegation, a great transfer system that works.. haviing to make a budget and use you cash wisely... Man WE4 destorys FIFA 2003... let alone WE6 FE which is what I'm playing.... I havent put another PS2 game in my console since I got WE6 FE... thats almost 3 months of only that WE beign played... yeah I would say its good.. Fifa 203 lasted one month in my Ps2 and I was bored with it.... it sucks.

Im not sure if i'd put scottish, id put in argentina and replace greek league with portugual.

Here may be the reason why Denmark league is in FIFA and not the others.

Danish league officials didn't ask an outragous price for the rights, look at FIFA 2003, even some dutch players are missing (i.e. Mols isn't in the Rangers side).

It really must be a rights issue, some of these top officials can be money grubbing bastards, you gotta consider that, not to diss any of the leagues you asked for.

Exactly right. Why on earth do these people want all those leagues when the thing that needs fixed up the most is the gameplay, not the amount of leagues put in it. I could stand just having 5 leagues if the gameplay was good.

I think they should include the:

Greece
Dutch
Turkish
Polish
Portugal
Argentina
Maxico
Brazil

to the leagues they already have.

Gameplay in 2003 has bugs but it's a large improvement over 2002.

large improvement yes.. but still light years away from the gameplay of winning eleven and pes series... still less realistic then World Tour Soccer/This is football.. so overall they have the absolute LAST choice for soccer.. almost every other game on the market is better..
