Hey guys, let me know what combination of things you use and how well it works for you. I'm going to give it a try tonight and will report back. I have noticed that the use_step_loco is still there and that it was the cause of players forgetting where the ball is, etc... so i'm worried about that but i'll see tonight.

You can fix it yourself by this:
DISABLE_MISS_BALLTOUCH = 1
DISABLE_BALLTOUCH_LIMITATION = 1

This has been mentioned already a few pages ago.

Runaway, thanks for letting me know, i appreciate it. I was aware of it actually, but Fidel may have implemented a method within cl.ini to keep the loco_step and still have the game work as planned.

Actually interestingly enough, which works better the fix you mentioned Runaway or removing these:

You can fix it yourself by this:
DISABLE_MISS_BALLTOUCH = 1
DISABLE_BALLTOUCH_LIMITATION = 1

When someone posted that fix, that's all I did and it worked. If you think they're still forgetting about those after that small fix, try deleting the other codes.

Yes the LOCO codes cause all sorts of errors. I mentioned it in the other Z. AI thread.

That code only lower the number of situations when players forget the ball, it still happens, the no use of LOCO movement is the only solution!?

Delete these two lines:
PLAYER_ATTRIBUTE_BALL_CONTROL = -5000.0
SKILLS_BALL_CONTROL = -500000000000000000000.0

and the problem is 99% fixed for me. Sometimes it still happens, but mostly when I make a bad pass.

Btw, Fidel, are you still exploring player editing in career mode? That is probably the most awesome thing that can happen in FIFA, rellay can't wait.

Hello to veryone, big thanks for comments and feedbacks!
I would mention that in my gameplay mods will always be present the unexpected effect, mistakes are part of the true football, if you remove all of these, game become arcade, this is my vision of football.
Use the appropriate button to stop the ball correctly, anyway in latest gp evo version isn't possible stop the ball in not real or impossible situation, this also applies to other aspects (shot for example).
Thanks to everyone help/share tips with users in my thread and help other users/friends to customize my gameplay mods.
I'm sorry if I don't reply to everyone, but I think many answers to your questions can be found into my thread or into the forum. Use sg forum search engine.

Beta 2 isn't required, you can install directly this latest version,
previous improvements are included.
I changed the version from beta to stable serial number (3.0),
why all the changes/tweaks work very well.
I would also mention that the game does not provides
for the editing of player's attributes during the Career mode.

DETAILS/LIST FIX:
- Now you can EDIT PLAYERS IN TOURNAMENT MODE.
(you can edit all player's accessory/boots/etc during your tournament mode)

See the pics to find the option in the game menu.
Select SQUAD tab, QUICK TACTICS, now scroll to the third item (new one) with appropriate button.

This is my first mod in the 2014 year.
I think it's a really good start!

DETAILS:
This mod unlock player's editing during your career mode manager.

INSTALLATION
Copy Game folder into your FIFA 14 MAIN folder (\Origin Games\FIFA 14)
Regenerate all bh files with your favorite Fifa14 Regenerator.

Start game, start/continue/load your career.
Go to ROSTER menù
Go to KITS TAB (at bottom right), the first tab is related to Edit Kit Numbers,
scroll and go to 2ND TAB and click to open Player's editor (old Injury list tab).

This is the beta 1 version, and soon I release an update to unlock same feature on career player mode.

I will create soon other mods based on the same files, I have many revolutionary ideas about.
Is that the start for a new mod called: Fifa 14 Tab Menù Revolution Mod?

the game is impossible to play in legendary with the mods but to an extent its pretty realistic. i would love it if the ball is a bit heavier and if one could feel the weight of the ball if you know what i mean.
