Okay, I am endeavoring to get this to work. It crashes to desktop after the Messi screen. So I replaced the default user ini with my custom ini. I got further: it moved past the Messi screen, the music started up; but then all I got was a black screen and the load logo in the bottom left corner rotating and rotating and rotating... No game yet however.

EDIT: Progress. I removed the user file completely and the game loaded. However, the only teams available to use are the 8 demo teams.
EDIT: This must be why: there is no db in the fifa14mod/data folder. Where is the db I wonder?
EDIT: The db is in the other data folder of course, sneaky!

Bro, do you have updated the game (official demo update)?
I think the db is not working into your game, this is a cause you will see oly 8 teams and user.ini issue connected.
Wait for other feedback, but the mod work perfectly bro!
Do you have downloaded the module3? (small but important).
Re-paste all the files into you main folder (my Game folder)

EDIT: read info, db is on normal folder, paste the extracted module 3 (Game folder) into you main folder, here is the data0.bh manually regenerated in order to read db inside normal folder.

You mean an Origin update? No, I never update my game after I download it, I don't want EA screwing with the gameplay. So I have to update the game via Origin to get this to work? Did the update change the demo gameplay, because I really like it as is. Thanks again.

EDIT: Used another PC, updated Origin and the demo, installed super patch! and... stuck on the black load screen again. I'm going to keep trying...

Bro you have certainly did some mistakes in the installation!
Your game don't read the new db, here the conflict with user.ini.
No don't update your game.
Now I upload for you my exe, download it from skydrive super mod folder.
Wait for uploading time.
Check files: do you have?

also got a few questions:

when crowd/lod mod comes out for full fifa 14 game, will it be usable with online gaming? i don't wana modify anything except get rid of the crowds for better frame rate, and maybe add lod to players. not modding any gameplay or anything. so could we use it online or no? thanks

also, to add mod manually for a 64 bit system, should i copy and overwrite the datax.bh file AND the other file that goes in the data folder, or just the one that goes in the data folder. Also, if i wana manually add both the crowd disabled and high lod how do i do that? cuz both have a datax.bh file

Recopied and reinstalled the files... got a bit further, your default user ini and exe gets me past the Messi screen, but I still get the black load screen. Question: Do I need to be connected to the internet to initiate this patch? Is the game wanting to connect with Origin to do a first-time setup check or something? Because I never go online when I start/play FIFA.

EDIT: Started the patch online on another PC but that didn't work either.

Like I said, when I unzipped the 23 different module parts, maybe 7-8 of them had error messages pop up. Example from module 1, part 1 zip:
"CRC Failed in Module_1\Game\Fifa14mod\data\sceneassets\body\skin_26_texture.rx3. File is broken."
Could this be the reason it doesn't work? Were those zips corrupted while in the process of downloading?

EDIT: I downloaded module 1, part 1 zip again. I get the same "File is broken" message when I unzip it.

Do you have blocked the connections into your firewall for the fifa14_demo.exe?
In addition to Origin, the game exe also call for online connection, and everytime it freeze at start.
Allow the internet connection only for the fifa14_demo.exe.
Or try to start the game with lan or wifi cards disabled (bypassing online check).
Restore the original settings.lua, read the info.
Remove read only to your demo Game folder before past new files.
Try to extract all the modules into a one Game folder on desktop, then copy all the files from this Game folder to demo game folder (inside).
To understand, try this solution, I think is a problem connected to overwriting files:
don't copy directly the new Game folder to FIFA14 demo main folder (\Origin Games\FIFA 14 Demo\)
but
copy all files inside my whole Game folder into you \Origin Games\FIFA 14 Demo\Game

Let me know! ....and I'm waiting other users feedback!

EDIT: yes, this is the problem, you must re-download corrupted files, you must extract all files without errors, after this you can play the demo game with super mod working.

Hello, wait tomorrow and the tool come out, I suggest to use the tool.
You can play online game without problems (both LOD and Crowd tweaked)
As usual I add the both option.
You can perform the manually installation as usual (data folder with lua inside + bh. Read info into documentation tomorrow.
Important: don't copy the data0.bh (demo tool) into you fifa full game.
Lua files are compatibles (demo to full) but the game exe don't read these files into a folder (original datax.bh does read at exe into datax.big).

It works also this year (this year is 26 sept), and this year work also online, match day work, also I've downloaded the first rosters update.

Game work in offline mode, no online service are available.

Follow these steps:

Go here: https://www.privatetunnel.com/
register with valid mail and pass, confirm registration.
download Private Tunnel here: https://www.privatetunnel.com/us/client/privatetunnel.msi
install, start Private Tunnel, add your login data, connect to America net.
Open Origin, play the game!

When you exit from the game, disconnect and close Private Tunnel.
When the game come out (28 sept.) uninstall Private Tunnel.

In Italy this method work perfectly!

On career mode and tournament mode now is possible to edit all players and aditing are also visible on started career, more new options, new sliders like first touch error!!!!!!
Now you make manually on career start the groups for champions league cup!!!!

Fidel, I have done everything, checked everything, replaced files, etc. I wonder if the problem is that several of the zips appear to have a single corrupted face or hair file. I downloaded 1.1 again but it still said one of the files was broken. I can make a list of the files I downloaded that appear to have an issue, and I can make screenshots of the error messages. Examples: 1.1 and 1.2 zips have these error messages (below). 1.3 and 1.4 also have error messages.

Only a couple details 1- the pitch in some stadiums don't have cut lines, i don't know if i explain well.. my english is horrible sorry, in few minutes i'll post some pics.
2- i seen a couple or 3 teams without name and badge (unameteam_ etc etc)
3- only i see adboards eufa champions league in all matches, this is correct ?
4- banner for all the teams is EA default, this is correct?
The last question: faces, banners and stadiums is of fifa14 full game ?

2)... 2 teams with team_name_abbr.....(is a problem with database into locale.big - not edited) but not a big problem
3) no lua settings for the adboards (rev mod), only one at moment (rename with .bk to enable default.
4) banner for all the teams is EA default, this is correct (at moment), but now you can update yourself.
faces, banners and stadiums is of fifa14 full game.

But gale is on the arena with real kit?
For pitch stadium fix I'll check in these days, I think are missing some graphic files.

Hey Fidel, thanks for all the help and the instructions and the file links! Still not working, but I'm going to leave it for now. I tried opening with both 7zip and Rar Open Knife, and both programs said there were files inside that were broken or could not be decompressed. I'll try downloading them again from your Skydrive tonight or tomorrow. Thanks again!

EDIT: Fidel, I downloaded and installed a third rar tool, then I downloaded your module 1.1 again and opened it. Got another error message saying "Module 1 [multipack] refused to be unpacked; archive might be corrupted". As I said, I came across 7-8 of these error messages when unzipping your files. So I have no idea what to try next.
