Some important info:
LOD is the abbreviation of: Level of detail
In computer graphics, accounting for level of detail involves decreasing the complexity of a 3D object representation as it moves away from the viewer or according other metrics such as object importance, viewpoint-relative speed or position. Level of detail techniques increases the efficiency of rendering by decreasing the workload on graphics pipeline stages, usually vertex transformations. The reduced visual quality of the model is often unnoticed because of the small effect on object appearance when distant or moving fast.

Although most of the time LOD is applied to geometry detail only, the basic concept can be generalized. Recently, LOD techniques also included shader management to keep control of pixel complexity. A form of level of detail management has been applied to textures for years, under the name of mipmapping, also providing higher rendering quality.

It is commonplace to say that "an object has been LOD'd" when the object is simplified by the underlying LOD-ing algorithm.

High LOD settings suggested only for monster pc.

Disable crowd help to increase game performance and remove lags.

FEATURES:
This tool allow to manage, enable, disable or restore:
- FIFA 14 DEMO FAST START V.1.0
- LOD GFX SETTINGS - Available options: low, mid, high, ultra high, original (settings.lua)
- DISABLE/ENABLE GFX CROWD (audio crowd not disabled, click on info button).
- ENABLE/DISABLE REVOLUTION MOD 14 by scousers (you must wait for it).

INSTALLATION
Run setup file and install on FIFA14 MAIN FOLDER (\EA Sports\FIFA 14 or \Origin Games\FIFA 14, for the demo C:\Program Files\Origin Games\FIFA 14 Demo)

Please remember don't install on \Game folder.

Start LOD AND CROWD TWEAKER TOOL from desktop shortcut!
For windows Vista/7, start tool with admin rights!
Some 64 bit system are not supported, install tool, merge/copy/paste manually relative files to Game folder.

Simply click favorited option button, close app, start game!

Hello, you use crowd remover only? After enable/disable crowd, I assume you do not use modded GFX LOD settings, but click to Original settings lua button.
Also I suggest to go offline in Origin, when you have an edited game version.

yeah if u use both lod and crowd, players and kits disappear too. :)

Bro the tool work perfectly.

I think you have clicked on ENABLE REV MOD 14 (not released out by scousers and not included in my tool), your game don't read the player.lua inside the folder, this is normal.
Now for fix your problem, go to crowd (enable or disable) and after go to LOD and re-apply your favorite setting.

Or you have applied a GFX LOD not compatible with your GFX card (too high), reset to default or try another level of LOD!

Hi, Doc.. on FIFA 14 demo; I'm giving notes on the animated movement of the ball and the players too speeding and sometimes outside the control; perhaps to clarify this issue as an example I am more comfortable when see the game play a club with such a low rating, santos and NYbuls, while playing the team with the high rating they so very quickly and be beyond control; including animation and movement of the ball. In addition the impact effect is still ambiguous. I'm so frustrated by this game demo. Perhaps this point can become your search to refine the animation player and ball, game play even a few errors that still exist.
Since the problem still I find in FIFA 13 I'm so pessimistic with EA's ability to troubleshoot their gaming and more faith in what you're doing..Thanks;

I did that, it didn't work.

Well actually it's kind of weird. I first set it to 4 and the length remained at 3. Then I set it to 3 and suddenly it lasted 6 mins.

But I'll try again

Sorry I was being a bit of a fool, if you just want it back to normal you just comment it out so it wont run (seeing as its 3 by default)

just place // in front ...

So it just wont use it and that line is ignored, then the game will run as normal at 3 :) You can even delete the line completely. I should have posted that before!

No it doesn't work. I had already tried to delete it before, now I de- and re-installed the patch but it's still 6 minutes. I had to remove the entire user.ini file (which is a shame because I loved the fast start)
