Under options isnt there a fade option? I cant remember if you just turn it off? Sorry not at the game to try. I have no clue what you would edit for that anyway, like I say Im not a editor or modder as such for those things mate.

Too many stoppages = boring and less fun for most gamers. They just want lots of goal-scoring action and EA understands that. All of EA's games have the same issue: complete lack of fouls/penalties.

Penalties I dont mind less becuase last years 13 shirt tug in box insta-penalties was annoying. I actually like the lesser fouls but it does need to be riased a little more. I would say the most annoying stoppages are bloody offsides! As much as Ive tweaked it more those micro detect run offsides are a bit much at times.

Funny thing is if you sim a game fouls and cards look like normal

What exactly does this mean? I have full game and it plays like the demo, sliders do the job. What is it that you think full hasn't got over the demo to want changed? Just interested to know others views on it.

i am not mean to tactics. Just to player movements,in demo,in my opinion, they move more closely like in real life.So,if you could tell me,what sliders can make/modify a player movement....remember:movement,not action.

You play the game on high settings (fifaconfig)?
I think is a problem with shadow and lighting.
Send info about your gfx card? Also update your gfx driver to latest version!

Yes i play on High settings and your LOD and Crowd Tool on Ultra High

My GFX card is GTX 650, and i have the last driver Nvidia 327.23

I shut offsides off in the demo; game plays 300% better without all those annoying offside calls. If something's that bugged I'd rather play without the proper rules than have to put up with something so broken. BTW, was that fixed in the full game?

Beta 1 feedback after two games: Much improved CPU attack as the CPU now takes the ball and moves with purpose. And particularly near my goal where it now takes proper shots, rather than turning back with the ball, dribbling in a circle, passing it off when it should be shooting, etc. I actually think that's one area of the default game that's a bit bugged: the CPU doesn't really attack the way it should and in general farts around too much. That pretty much feels fixed now that and it's a huge improvement.

I find that the opposite teams do not want to gather the ball as they should. This is a problem of the game (not only of your gameplay mate): try to hold L1 and they will not run into you in order to interrupt your moves or shake you. They stand there waiting for minutes. This is not real. Sometimes I feel that I'm playing alone if I do not make something wrong. I've also tried to put the slide of pressing to maximum.

Yes, I think it work, anyway I use another way, you can edit the locale.ini directly into locale.big (for by-passing language selection), this is the best way, cause some game released in other regions have different language installed and in some case cause game crash.

On addon raise boot time through legal time strings setting.

Hello, demo gameplay is apparently different because on demo you can play the game only at kick off mode, on this modality some ea gameplay code are disabled (morale, emotion, etc). Career Mode gameplay is different!

However, if I have time I can try to create an "hydrid gameplay" (demo-full).

I will be so happy if you could make that possible.

Only had a chance to have a quick go with the new gameplay and I have to admit it seems you are definitely on the right track.. Good work!!

I was bayern v barca and there was some real intricate passing between the players and even my players were making good runs of the ball (Alaba and lahm overlapping wingers).

Also the shooting seemed to be better too??

Not really, its still quite silly. I have got used to it but thats it. Im waiting for all the new AI updates and Db fiddles to really see any change. Unless EA does include a balance tweak in patch.

Hi Fidel,

sent you a message, would love to give your AI a try (Oh forgot to add Fidel, downloaded your beta AI, but it is password protected.). Here are my issues, I have found:

I play worldclass, and slow:

- Issue 1: If i tug on their shirts, one or two is enough for a foul, PC, i have had them harass a player for literally 10 seconds just to test, NO foul called.
- Issues 2: Like fidel said, i do not play against a PC to play against perfection. I can't count HOW many times i play against weaker leagues and they will move away from a tackle last second, nearly everytime, the response of an AI, not a player, who is not sure when you will slide, or tackle.
- Issue 3: players will run into each other, sometimes taking away a great tackle and giving it back to opposition.
- issue 4: Our players don't do as much. Sometimes they stand around and do nothing.

Last issue,isn't something Fidel can fix, basically, switch player key is slow at times, and switches to the wrong players often.

Good things I have seen are very rarely, but sometimes pc will mess up and foul you in the penalty box. I have seen red cards and yellows, which are VERY nice to see.

Hi fidel thanks for the link.

Ok, I have all tweaks set for much smooth gameplay now, frames ahead is set triple buffering for vsync on, the fifasetup line tweaks, all is good and now 14 is playing on my lower end game rig (dual core) better than 13 & fully modded, smooth and now no lowering fps hit in intro pitch cut scenes that I did get in 13 so now playing smoothness is actually better than last year!

BUT ....

Whenever I introduce a cl.ini file like yours with these tweaks I instantly notice camera pan stutter which looks like LOD enhancer is switched on and I get the exact same result. Thing is, I have no extra LOD setting all graphics drivers up to date its smooth as silk as soon as I remove cl.ini with AI edit everything returns smooth again.

I am utterly puzzled by this as I cant see why and never at all had it last year.

I know I did PM you but I just tested again on this new cl.ini knowing I solved all minor stutter issues before hand. I can turn the stutter on like a switch just by dropping this cl.ini into game folder & playing .. insta-cam stutter, and then removing it ... smooth as slik .. repeatable. Its not really extreme but its enough when camera is panning to be annoying.

What on earth could it be? Anyone else think of anything? It means that I cant really test anything becuase its just annoying, and I really want to test this year AI mods it has to be something.

Also .. what exactly has happened with the DB I didnt notice too much star rating changes like last year, so is it more about player updates and unlocks? I notice it didnt effect any of my careers so I assume its nothing too heavy with editing.

Fidel, I know you have been busy, but wanted to send you my thanks, here is why: My wife doesn't want to divorce me anymore. Just kidding but basically my wife hated how much i would shout at the game and complain at the players and what the hell they where doing,forgetting to defend, running past the ball, forgetting to defend AGAIN, etc.. etc... I literally was shouting at the PC, but after your mod, i am relaxed! Yes it does have some issues (not so many fouls maybe, goal kicks by the PC going straight to my goalie, i'll keep reporting) BUT it is FAR FAR better than EA's work, they could definitely learn from you as to what soccer should be about.

I mean I watch skilled players dribble the ball and you know something, they don't go loosing the ball in 2 seconds.

Anyways, good job, and I can't wait to see the next release of your AI, till then, i'll continue playing with the current one. Thanks again!
