Funny thing is, that guy is also a member of No Name Boys in Portugal :D

Spare me, I am down for getting hammered and having a good time but seriously looking like ******* tools on tv is another thing. I'd rather keep my drunkeness to myself rather then attention whore it across canada.

Though you are RPB and I am sure when ever you see a camera you all run to it as fast as you can.

They were just having a good time man...who cares?

As to your comment about RPB... a couple of members of your group also appear in that shot, also shitfaced, so don't get all holier than thou on me...

Why the bitter attitude man? We get our name out there to attract members and bring them into the wonderful world of supporting TFC. You got a problem with that?

Go back to bitching about RPB on your own boards.

Seeing those guys at the box car the night of let me assure you, not ****faced. But it was a good try, last time I checked none of whom were yelling "RED PATCH BOYS BABY." It's pretty disturbing the lengths of PR whoring your group is willing to do. Pardon my distaste for a group started up by a guy openly addmiting on CBC he doesn't even know the rules of the game. ****in brilliant.

You get your name out there to self promote you'd be saying alot more about TFC and alot less of "RED PATCH BOYS!" if anything some of you are useless tools promoting nothing but your ******* selves. I don't have much pactience for that ****. There are two reasons why you don't see the Usector on much T.V 1. We don't have a PR rep (yes thats right ladies and gents they have a PR team for a supporters group... seems more like a business then anything no?) 2. We are there for our team not to shamelessly promote ourselves every chance a camera is on us.

Again, I have no bitterness seriously. I just think you guys look like a bunch of ******* tools.

Which guy openly admitted to CBC he doesn't know the rules of the game? Even if someone like that STARTED the group...what does that have to do with the rest of us? Whatever he may have done, we know football and love our club.

We support the team first and foremost, and our way of doing that is telling the world, on camera or anywhere else. You can't saythat we cheer them with any less fervour than you do...whatever you may think of interviews or drunks on TV.

Plus...we all know that nonameboys is obnoxious...:D so who cares?

I think there is a lot of misunderstanding and silliness between groups who have the same goal in mind...that street party before the game was awesome and had nothing to do with anything except love for the club, don't deny it!

Anyway... I guess we're having a joint meeting at The Boxcar on Tuesday to organize a tifo for the DC game... so let's forget one guy's moment of drunkenness and get together and do something awesome for the team.

The Galaxy are absolutely awful :|. It looks like Beckham is gonna get out there in the second half but I don't know how much he can do with the way the rest of the team is playing. I think Donovan touched the ball twice the entire first half and it doesn't even look like he cares to have it more. Nice goal by Emilio but Cannon should of had that.

edit: Beckham came on in the last 20 minutes and was probably the Galaxy's best field player (Cannon saved at least 4 goals today) that's how pathetic they are. I don't understand why Yallop puts Donovan up front, he's never going to succeed there if he has no good midfielders to supply him the ball. Playing the same role he does for the NT would suit him best, and even though the Galaxy have some awful strikers (Gordon, Pavon, Buddle  ) even they would score every 5 clear cut chances that they miss or so which would probably suit them better than they are now.

It's a shame that he ended up on a bad team because I want the Galaxy to succeed so that all the gay American sportswriters don't call him a bust and the league a bust and go back to the same ol' soccer will never work in America.

If you guys caught Michael Wilbon's interview in the booth during the match then you probably, just like me agreed with everything he said. That guy is a class act and a real jewel in the rough when it comes to American media. He said one thing which I think the MLS should listen to and that is stop trying to market yourself to non-fans, if they haven't watched soccer up to now they won't start because you have some dumb commercials on ESPN in between Sports Center. Market for the fans who already exist, and it's obvious that they do. Like Wilbon said, the MLS has surpassed the NHL in popularity in the United States and I believe that's 100% true. If the general media would just be a little less ignorant and allow the sport to be covered seriously and not like a joke things would be so much better. Meh, I can only hope (:/)...

Buddle with those misses in the end (H), I bet you're glad he's gone Carlos.

Both teams looked pathetic tonight...really nothing out of the ordinary for MLS.

Seems like Houston is the only team that's actually any good.

Apparently you were watching the "Beckham Cam" too much because United were passing the ball fairly well and created many opportunities to score they were just unlucky. Fred and Emilio are awesome to watch (Y)

By the way, big props to the Screaming Eagles and Barra Brava, they were awesome tonight (Y)(Y)(Y). They sang non-stop and it was probably the best atmosphere during any MLS match that I've ever seen.

Thats the problem with the Rochester Rhinos organization, they have ended up losing about 2,000 season ticket holders from last year and things don't look to bright for the future.

Agree with you Steaua.. Galaxy's finishing is truly awful.. Beckam is in for quite a ride.

Really Glad that Beckam look's Healthy and was on the field. He doesn't look 100%, but the fact the he was able to run and kick the ball with no problem is a sure sign that he will be ready to play a full 90 minutes soon...:bouncy:

Oh really? I need to see videos of that....do you think they topped our crowd against LA?

how's Abel Xavier doing?

Like shinji said, he's easily one of the best defenders in the MLS and pretty much the only good defender the Galaxy have. I'd say he kicks/heads out 70% of the balls that come into the Galaxy box. He really is all over that back line and he's very consistent.

Yeah no offense to you guys, you do an awesome job week in and week out but you could HEAR the DC fans tonight, it sounded like a CL match, it honestly did, I was very impressed.

Senior Squad
DC's crowd was good, but Toronto's was much better overall.

Galaxy are just awful, it's just a team thrown together really. Why does Alan Gordon even get starts in this league? At least Buddle GETS chances to mess up rather than be completely ineffective.

Well also, they had about 46,000 at their stadium because of Beckham, while we had 20,500. I wouldn't compare that to a regular DC game, although they definitely have great support.
