The newspapers are talking about a wide scale middle east war, İsrael tanks has entered Lebanon today, and also they invaded some of Palestenian lands , İsrael says what happened so far to their own soldiers are an act of war and they will destroy lebanon if their kidnapped soldiers wouldnt return. Syria saying however israel should withdraw immediatly. İsrael military forces are attacking bridges around the east of lebanon and in return Lebanon has attacked a near by İsraeli city. (nayareya) İsraeli army confirmed at least 1 civilian is killed during the attack
also i have just learned that this morning 2 israeli jets attacked the beirut airport at the lebanon capital. over 20 lebanese civilians are killed in the raid.
i dont want to be bias so i m not commenting on the issue, at least not at this post :nape:

And yesterday Israel killed an entire family of nine, including the wife and 2 children. Their bodies were extracted out of their home ruins on TV, all wearing their pyjamas.

This is, over here, more like everyday news.

It's like Israel's message is: For every soldier you attack, we'll kill 10 of your civilians.

It's been mass murders like that, everyday for about 2 weeks till now.

Yesterday alone, the Palestenian death toll reached 23.

The difference is this time he is absolutely right. You only hear about how the eeeeevil people from Palestine kill innocent Israelis in the western media and they make huge reports about it, but if Israel kills people there they only mention it in 2 or 3 sentences, if they even do.

Nah, I'm not sinical and honestly I couldn't give a sh!t either way. I'm not for or against Israel and I'm well aware of the Western media's portrayals. You're not exactly educating me there or anything... I just find it interesting how you always come off giving the impression that muslim lives are worth more than anyone else's. I'll never forget how after the London bombings you posted something ridiculous like how muslim shopkeepers losing their businesses in the wake of the terror attack was the real terrorism :|

I know u don't give a damn (seriously who does anymore) and that I'm not educating u. Just stating the obvious.... sometimes it helps to have an outlet.

And if anything, what's happening in Palestine now shows how cheap 'muslim' life -as u call it- is to the Israeli government and Mass Media. Killing dozens of civilians by the week. But when a soldier of an occupying force is kidnapped, u find all the media bringing up his life story, his parents, his diplomas and aspirations for the future. It's as if all these civilian Palestenians being killed at the same time are homeless, reckless, fatherless and motherless animals. And everyone gets an allergy whenever they're mentioned, as what's happening here.

My bad for giving this impression about the London Bombings... Of course the real trauma and shock is for the people who experienced this 1st hand, but I was saying there are other massive widespread reprecussions of these attacks that make the loss much bigger on another side. Not a 'direct trauma' loss, but more like an economical loss which is everything these days. But however big it is, cannot be termed 'Terrorism' at all...

This whole situation over there is only getting worse and worse by time, in the absence of any international interference.

Nothing will improve in the middle east until Israel's neighbours accept that Israel has a right to exist & is not going anywhere. The same goes the other way of course.

Unfortunately that is a mind set which will never change while these countries are run by religious lunatics and we will continue to see a vicious cycle of violence with ultimately the civilians on each side paying the price.

I just fear when Iran and co develop some serious weaponry. It is so important Iran doesn't get nukes because they sure as hell wont be afraid to use them against Israel. Hell their screwball leader has even admitted as much.

Well, you're correct there and that's exactly why I don't watch CNN anymore. Anytime a coalition or Israeli soldier is killed, they're automatically crowned heroes, but the rest are just statistics. Maybe I was too quick to label you negatively back there, I guess I can't exactly empathize with you since I haven't been in your shoes. Anyhow, I do like to consider myself very secular, so I tend to have harsh opinions of both sides in any conflict with religious undertones..
