Look, there are parents who overreact, and there are parents who are reckless. MJ was the latter. The point is that no faher in his right mind would hold his newborn, even for a second, over a balcony. Have you ever seen a baby that is a few months old? They're fragile as hell, they can get seriously hurt from a 10cm fall onto padded surfaces. So for MJ o hold his baby over the balcony tells me he is ******* insane, and really, that's the end of it. You've simply repeated your argument, which has led me to repeat mine.

MJ = dead and insane. Full stop.

My arguement boils down to definitions of normal and insane parenting keeping in mind what goes on around us. I am trying to put things into broader perspective here but it seems a waste.

Anyways, each to their own.

cheers

That pretty much proves goal_machine's point, it's not anymore dangerous than holding a baby up on ground hight, let alone throwing them in the air, catching them on the way down. And when you said something that a papparazzi's flash could've distracted him, I doubt he would've let go off the baby.

Not something I would do, and what I'd recommend, but in my opinion, it wasn't as bad as the press made it look.

It might've been a not so smart action, but I don't think he had any bad intentions with it. He just was so excited by all the fans cheering him on.
