Messed Up Signal Iduna Park (Westfalenstadion)

red''

Youth Team
xbox360

hey. i'm a bit shocked how ea messed up westfalenstadion after all the years they've done it right.:bwtf:

the guestblock is on suedtribuene and not on the northside + those adboards are wrong, too. and the wall, which cuts the suedtribuene in two parts is to high.

and when they want to update this stadium, scoreboards and some other stuff is missing, too.

are we able to import fifa 13 signal iduna park?

I see, so people pirate the game and pay nothing for it, but then complain about this and that and what's wrong with it. Ungrateful leeches, typical behavior these days.

I don't understand why you're saying the game is the problem. You edited the game files and now there's an issue with your game, okay. But that means the problem is with the way you edited the game, and not with the game itself.

you didnt understand what i said.i manage to play the foul game.i didnt edit nothing.i just said that stadiums like olympico di rome san siro if you play with inter or lazio you will see the mistakes.also in signal induna the most well known fanatic stand if you see in tv
ea put the away fans there instead of home fanatics.its like you see in anfield KOP away fans.that thing reminds me pro evolution.

First you said you edited the game. Then you said you didn't edit the game. That's what I'm reading here anyway and why it's confusing.

I would like to ask you something: All the stadiums in FIFA have visiting fans in the stands. On scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being barely an issue and 10 being a horrible error, where does this particular issue stand? I'd say 1 is too high because fans in fact do attend away games, and every stadium always has visiting fans. So this is really just an issue of exactly how many visiting fans should be seen in any particular stadium. We're talking here about a few hundred fan cutouts in the stands that nobody who is actually focused on the gameplay and with what's going on on the pitch, will ever see or think about.

Me, I'd rate that issue a 0.1 out of 10, and just because I want to acknowledge your effort in bringing it to our attention. :shades:

Well, on the one hand I agree with you, on the other, I don't.

See, I always think that the Graphics EA gives us (Ignite or not) in Sport Games (espacially in Fifa) are not up to date. Honestly, I guess that in one or two years there will be mobile games from some publishers with better graphics. And if you want to create a simulation, the around atmosphere is very, very important (ESPECIALLY in a sports game!!!!)

When I was EA, I would do it like this: Create two teams who haven't anything to do then to WATCH football games. The one team directly in a stadium, the second in front of a tv. A whole season long. And the only thing they have to do is to notice fucking everything they see. And then go to the studios and make a real game out of it.

They always give us the same bullshit fans. I would've made it different. When I was EA, I would make many updates to fifa. And in every Update I would add details to a new team. So for Example, in Update One I give realistic Fans to ManU, to Bayern, to Arsenal. And I would release toolkits for editors. See what would Skyrim be without its moddingcommunity? Just a game which graphics and gamemechanics are not up to date.

That's my opinion to all this.

Cheers.

Edit: But things like that will never happen. Because there is a magnificant difference between EA and others (e.g. Rockstar Games): EA just want to make money, money, money. But what they will never understand is, that when they give us what we want, concentrate on making a perfect game (like Rockstar did with GTA V) and don't care about how long it will take, then they would make much more money then now. People like me pay for the things they like, and we pay even more if it is perfect.

I used to look at it that way. But after a decade of playing FIFA, and after seeing that NG FIFA looks just like CG FIFA, one thing is clear: EA will NEVER create a real-life simulation. They aren't interested in creating a simulation because that's not the sort of game that will make them the most money. They make money by creating a fun, pick-up-and-play game that casual gamers (kids mostly) will buy.

And it's not just FIFA. That is EA's corporate game development vision for all their games. I'm from Canada and I played hockey all my life. And I can tell you EA's NHL hockey series is an embarrassingly pathetic re-creation of the sport of hockey. It's a complete joke; hockey doesn't look or play anything like that. Plus the game is completely devoid of any team simulation strategy options. FIFA has much more going for it when it comes to simulation options and realism.

The trick is to accept all that and to realize FIFA is never going to be anything but an arcade representation of football. It's simply too profitable a franchise for EA to change that. And once that's put into proper perspective, then all these concerns about stadiums and so forth becomes a bit of a joke. Who the heck cares what the stadium looks like, when you're talking about a game that's specifically developed and designed for people who want an arcade, non-simulation (unrealistic in other words) football experience?

That's why we are humans: We know that very well, but we can say that we don't like it and what we would like to have different.
If everyone would accept everything (I know, it is just a computer game) what would our world look like. You will not see me in front of an EA studio an screaming "you ***** **** *****", but you will see me here where I can post my critics, my suggestions and thoughts =)
It's because I pay for something, that means I do my job, so I can say something about how they do their job.

But: You are right, never forget, it's just a game :D

Sure okay. But there's a point where focusing on the tiniest issues becomes a neurosis. Take this thread for example: it's ridiculous to start a whole thread on the subject of one stadium having some wall incorrect. So do we all now start our own threads about every little thing we see wrong with the game? People complain and nitpick way too much IMO.

Totally agree. Thinks like that can be mentionend in threads like "demo impressions" or whatever. There are enough threads to post it in, no need for an own thread where we resume what we repeat everytime again.

Yes, I could start about 12 new complaint threads right now if I wanted to list everything about the demo I dislike. We would need a whole new forum category:
Adboards Forum
Boots Forum
Editing Forum
Support Forum
Moan And Groan About EVERY Tiny Issue Forum
