Chicharito gone too, apparently. If Rooney gets hurt you're getting relegated.

Surprised because clubs have bid even more (8 millions) for Cleverley.

English players cost a lot as is, FFP inflated their value even more.

Edit: Homegrown regs, not FFP.

so why is he still at United, instead of in a freight crate on his way to wherever?

anyway, Prem clubs always grossly overpay for British players, coz they think they need them ... look at how much Villa paid for Darren Bent ... can't compare those prices to foreigners who've "flopped" ...

I think Bent was the then club record transfer for Tottenham, Sunderland, and Aston Villa. Which is actually hilarious.

That's ridiculous. If Cleverley was a foreigner he wouldn't even be 2 millions.

I have updated the first post with squad list and transfers in/out.

And we're getting him... :\

Well, he can't be any worse than Benzema on his bad days.

Falcao -> Manchester UNITED(yes United not City) (via Andres Marocco and Saris Bello)
{Twitter} and Tancredi Palmeri said"Man Utd did bid for Falcao"

Weird and Interesting Transfer deadline day.

Falcao to United is almost impossible.

65m for him makes absolutely no sense. van Persie was 29 when we got him and we got him for 22 million pounds or something.

We have 2 good senior strikers at the moment with a very good backup (Welbeck) and James Wilson as the other backup. I have been very impressed by James Wilson whenever I have seen him (mostly in reserves). He was very sharp against Dons. He had the best chances and came very close twice. He has the potential to become much better than Welbz.

A Little fact about Saris Bello (the chick who broke falcao to manchester united)

DirecTV’s Saris Bello is claiming Manchester City have been ruled out of a move for Falcao due to financial fair play... and the 28-year-old will join United today.

Why should we care about Saris Bello? Manchester’s own thepeoplesperson.com writes: “There’s a few interesting points to note about Saris Bello. She has known Falcao for a long time and refers to him more as a friend than anything.”

Also Falcao follows her on Twitter and they are personal friends on Facebook, where Saris has also reported the story.

Some shit sources (AS, Twitter "gurus" etc) reporting that the deal is done for Falcao and that there's a private jet arriving at Manchester airport from Nice.

According @agent_clash_MUFC, we're not gonna get him, because it would be the stupidest move ever for all parts.

According to Guardian, Soccernet etc. the deal is done (20m) and subject to a medical & personal terms. That ought to shore up our defence & problematic central midfield area.

Looks like Falcao is coming to Manchester United on a 1 season-long loan deal.

I'm happy with it and is a very smart move from Woodward. This allows RVP to get his surgery on his knee and we won't miss too much.

If we got Falcao on a permanent deal, I'm wondering how we are gonna play RVP, Falcao, Rooney, Mata, Di Maria at the same time.

We should applaud Woodward, he's done excellent lately.

SkySports says:

Radamel Falcao is coming to the Premier League, and our reporter James Cooper says he’s heading to Manchester United, rather than Arsenal or Manchester City.

@JimWhite
Wow what a start to #SkyDeadlineDay! Radamel Falcao to United on loan....this will keep me busy tonight.

Seriously? Holy shit.
